We had our wedding reception at deer lodge lake louise and we stayed there for two days. Very reasonable place. Super nice staff. Well mentioned and very clean. Great food. Made everything worry free for us. Let them know what u need and they got your back. Very skilled people. 30 to 45 min drive to banff if you want to check our beautiful mountain or restaurant or need something. Absoultly Beautifull view. 2 min drive to lake louise. We just hosted our wedding there this past weekend and it was perfection! The staff was extremely kind and accommodating, the venue was gorgeous, and the food was delicious. It is definitely an old hotel so do not expect amenities like a new one. That being said, our room was very large and the beds were comfortable. The restaurant was 5/5 stars itself with a lot of outdoor and indoor seating, from scratch meals, and homemade ice cream. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful, even retrieving a forgotten watch and sending it back to us. The staff and location is why you choose the deer lodge. It is definitely an old hotel so do not expect amenities like a new one. That being said, our room was very large and the beds were comfortable. The restaurant was 5/5 stars itself with a lot of outdoor and indoor seating, from scratch meals, and homemade ice cream. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful, even retrieving a forgotten watch and sending it back to us.

We had booked a trip to Moraine Lake to take post-wedding photos (got rained out the day of) so we wanted to stay close by. The hotel staff were polite, professional, and when we chatted about why we were there they gave us a hand-written congratulations card and a complimentary bottle of local vodka! The room was wonderful with a lovely view, and I'll definitely be staying here again.This place was fantastic!
