Description

Are you looking for a place to accommodate as many people as possible for a wedding or a large family event? From May to the end of September, Château Le Chereau, with its large gîte Domaine Les Poultières, offers accommodation for up to 42 guests for the wedding season. Château Le Chereau, for its part, offers 10 double rooms (20 beds) with eight bathrooms or shower rooms. Its library and large adjoining lounges will delight you. Its dining room will welcome you all around its large table, in front of a magnificent open fire. In the outbuildings opposite the castle, a large "Billiards" lounge, with a French billiards table, table football and a large fireplace, offers you an additional 80m². Opposite, the 100m² party room, with its large adjoining kitchen, is transformed into a dining room when large groups rent the property. The large lawns around the castle and along the pond are ideal for organizing family events: cocktails, weddings, photo shoots or car rallies! You can take off a hot air balloon or land there by helicopter. Do not hesitate to contact us for more information. We will find a solution together. And if we can only seat 60 people in our party room, our large lawns and numerous spaces can accommodate your tent and your many guests (up to 400).

We couldn't have dreamed of a better wedding! First of all, the setting: a splendid wooded park, a small forest to stroll through, ponds for a mysterious touch, all maintained down to the smallest detail. Then the château, the Poultières residence, as well as the wedding venue and billiard room: charm and refinement are all there, giving you a feeling of warmth and comfort. Finally, the welcome and the flawless yet discreet support of the on-site coordinator, who made your life so easy! A huge thank you for allowing us to organize our wedding just as we dreamed!We couldn't have dreamed of a better wedding! Château Le Chéreau is a wonderful estate for your wedding. The setting is superb, both in terms of the buildings and the wooded grounds. Alec is a very friendly person who will welcome you with kindness and a smile. We got married at the end of August at Le Chereau, and we can't recommend it enough! Everything was perfect on every level: - The estate manager, Alec, is professional, flexible, and super helpful. He knows all the service providers in the area, which makes planning before the big day much easier. He's always available to lend a hand and is full of great advice. - The estate is absolutely magnificent, superbly maintained, and perfectly suited to organizing a wedding, with spaces offering numerous possibilities (brunch, cocktail parties, dinner, etc.). Everyone found the estate splendid. - The ability to accommodate around forty people, either in the château or the adjoining gîte (accessible on foot), greatly facilitates planning. The rooms are well-appointed, with every necessary comfort. Incredible placeIncredible place
My husband and I had an absolutely amazing experience at Château Le Chereau with my whole family. We booked several of the gîtes which were spacious and spotless, with very comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. We were a very pleasant 10 minute walk away from the main castle, through the woods. We really enjoyed the pool and the tennis grounds, the gardens are incredible beautiful, and we were also able to take a small rowing boat on the lake with the kids, which really made their day!My husband and I had an absolutely amazing experience at Château Le Chereau with my whole family. Just after the town hall, we arrived at Château Le Chereau to celebrate our wedding (December 2023). Surrounded by our family and friends (40 adults/teenagers and 10 children), we had a wonderful stay. The place is magnificent with different spaces. The dining room part of the castle and the 2 adjoining lounges were perfect for keeping the children busy with their babysitters. The wine of honor took place in the billiard room...Just after the town hall, we arrived at Château Le Chereau to celebrate our wedding (December 2023). We booked the castle with friends for New Year's Eve. We had a dream stay in this beautiful place. The castle is very well renovated and very pleasant. The bathrooms are modern and the rooms are very beautiful. Alec, with whom we spoke, is very friendly, available and accommodating. Stunning EstateStunning Estate
The Chateau was beautiful. It was the perfect venue to celebrate a 70th and 47th birthday. Immaculately maintained, stunning estate and three lakes for fishing! Alec did a fantastic job of looking after us and making our stay really special. The highlight was the private chef Christophe organised by the wonderful Christelle. Highly recommend for a special experience.The Chateau was beautiful. It was the perfect venue to celebrate a 70th and 47th birthday. Immaculately maintained, stunning estate and three lakes for fishing! Alec did a fantastic job of looking after us and making our stay really special. I would highly recommend Chateau Le Chereau. We hired the chateau for an intimate wedding venue and could not be more pleased with our stay. It was perfect! The place is even more stunning in person due to the immaculate upkeep of the grounds surrounding the castle. The site manager did everything he could to make our day successful. He recommended a superb chef to cater our delicious wedding meal which our guests thoroughly enjoyed.
