Without doubt, take wedding insurance.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
We recently built a secret arch comisioned by the Groom. It was covered in roses and vines and lockets with pictures of all the family and friends who could not be at the wedding.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We hold free consultations six days a week. These are Essentially a relaxed chat about flowers. I follow up with an estimate a couple of days later.
What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?
A beautiful 100 year old embroidered ribbon that every bride in the family had sewn their name on.
Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?
Roses are always seen as traditional symbols of love but forget me knots and Nigella (known as love in a midst) are fairly symbolic too.
What is the most romantic flower and why?
For me, it will always be forget me knots. As a wife, we want to be remembered not just on our wedding day but on every day, forever.
What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?
So many choices...take them home to enjoy, have them preserved, gift them to your guests or to charity, maybe even leave some on the grave of someone you loved but couldn't be there.
