Hi I’m Oliver, I photograph weddings in the uk and around the world and I love my job! My style is most commonly referred to as documentary wedding photography (or wedding photojournalism) and my pictures capture the spirit and natural emotion of your wedding day-Nothing is staged, nothing is posed. I encourage my couples to be able to enjoy their wedding day uninterrupted by the cliche wedding photographer, enabling me to capture the special moments that are as unique and individual as they are. I have always been very passionate about photography from a young age and I still own some of the first cameras I used....you know the old ones with film in! I’m incredibly fortunate to now be working in what I could only describe as my dream job- I sometimes need to give myself a pinch! I fell in love with photography aged ten whilst taking photos of cars racing around Brands Hatch on my Grandma's old 35mm Minolta. I vividly remember thinking 'what an amazing thing to do!' and from that day on I was hooked... My early love for photography quickly grew from a hobby to a career and I have been a professional photographer since 2011. I am a commissioned wedding, event and portrait photographer in the UK, London, Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Cotswolds and on Destination. My photos are authentic and honest-nothing awkward or contrived. Recent accomplishments include being featured in Elle magazine’s top 13 wedding photographers in the UK whilst I can also be found on the recommended suppliers list at The Ned Hotel, Tapenade Catering, Brunswick House and many others…

The photos themselves were absolutely stunning

Oliver flew out to Taomina, Siciliy to take photos of our wedding day on 1st July 2017. On the day of the wedding he proved to not only be our photographer, but an absolute godsend. As a bride, I found Oliver to be a calming influence on a day that a lot of people were in a mild state of panic. Any moment we found ourselves getting caught up in it, he was there to bring us back down. Being photographed can be a strangely awkward experience, but Oliver made everyone feel completely at ease the whole day. The photos themselves were absolutely stunning and he really captured our day in a way that we could never have imagined. Sitting looking through them when we were back in the UK, we were immediately transported back to that special day and for that we cannot thank him enough.

Oliver took beautiful photos

Oliver was the second shooter for our wedding, so we didn’t meet him until the day. Despite that, Oliver was incredibly friendly and it felt like we had known him for years! He really got involved and made everyone feel at ease. Oliver took beautiful photos of our day and nothing was too much of an ask for him, he was even there to help straighten out my dress to ensure everything was a perfect set up for the photos. We feel so grateful that Oliver really helped to capture all of our day alongside our main photographer from the small details to the main portraits. perfectly capturing our special moments

From the very beginning of the process, Oli was an absolute joy to work with. He made us feel at ease straight away and made an effort to get to know us as a couple and how best to capture our big day based on our wishes. Our engagement shoot in Richmond Park allowed us to get used to being in front of the camera with Oli making us feel really comfortable. Oli was always very thorough and responsive to our questions/request in the build up to the wedding. He even managed to scout out our church location prior to the big day to ensure he had the best angles on the day. On the day itself, Oli was super professional and instantly struck up a good rapport with our guest. Oli's style as a photographer is to make sure the couple have the most enjoyable day and as such was a 'fly on the wall', perfectly capturing our special moments while any disruption. We were so happy with how the photos came out, as well as the ease of use of the online gallery. There was a perfect mix of candid shot and precious portrait of family and bridal party. We can't recommend Oli highly enough and can guarantee you won't be disappointed with the amazing service he provides!

Oliver did an amazing job taking the photographs on our special day. He is very professional, very kind and his work is of high quality. We particularly like his artistic style and the ability to catch special moments while we enjoyed the day. The portfolio produced by him is beautiful and he has been kind enough to also organise for us to have the whole set of photographs taken on the day, including those that didn't make it to the final album. Oliver a fantastic photographer

Not only is Oliver a fantastic photographer he is also a truly lovely, hilarious person. He seamlessly mixed in with our guests and made everyone feel so comfortable that they didn't even notice when he was taking photos. Oliver helped us to relax when taking our "couple photos", finding beautiful locations and capturing magical, real life moments. He even suggested some great music when the bridal party were getting ready. He was always there ready to photograph each part of our day, from the quiet, intimate moments, to the large and lively.

Olly is simply the best. He is more than just a photographer. He takes the time to make myself, my husband and all our guests feel extremely comfortable. Hmm I have had a few, Taormina in Sicily was breathtaking, New Years Eve with a groom in full military uniform including a very big hat...A film themed wedding where the guests had to find their names in the credits on the film posters and then the table names were on directors boards

Describe how you got into photography.

I started shooting at a very early age then went on to study photography and work in the industry. In later life I have been photographing a lot of architecture and corporate events which has given me a great understanding of photography and composition. To now photograph weddings is a pleasure that I absolutely love and feel honoured to be able to capture these wonderful moments for all my couples.
