Our spectacular location amongst picturesque brooks and fells, several unique features such as our beautiful woodland ceremony area, and our principle of always going above and beyond to create unforgettable bespoke weddings, make us an unbeatable choice for your day.
Exclusivity and individuality is a priority of ours, and we aim to tailor your special day to you and help make memories to treasure forever. We offer all couples exclusive use of our extensive venue - the stunning facilities and backdrop will be yours and yours only. Our in-house wedding managers are dedicated to creating the day of your dreams, without the stress, and our expert on-site catering team creates bespoke menus from scratch.
We pride ourselves on being flexible and giving our couples choice. You can choose from our three beautiful ceremony locations, the Brook Room, with unrivalled views and bifold doors, the balcony which adjoins the room, or our new outdoor woodland ceremony area, where you can say your vows under an oak pergola at the water’s edge.
We never forget about the practicalities either, which is why we do not charge for room hire, provide ample parking for all your guests, and even have gorgeous wedding suites complete with a dedicated “getting ready” area, with the perfect spot for your wedding dress or suit to take pride of place.
As a forward thinking venue, we are always adapting and expanding to cater to modern needs and tastes - Bashall Barn offers couples a stunning and unique fusion of characterful rustic charm and stylish, contemporary features to make their own.

Lovely venue awful management I have to many things to list so I will just keep it as short as possible! When booking our dream wedding we met our amazing co ordinator (cath) she sadly left, she was an asset to bashall when we first met her we knew we was in safe hands!!!! We then got given Rebecca Rebecca I have not one good thing to say about she has no people skills what so ever! I have never met anyone so rude and nasty! I left our first meeting with her in tears! I had several complaints from my guests as she was dressed so inappropriately with a high slit dress, very untidy appearance with a face like she hates her job!! Simon is no better! I could go on and on but I really don’t have the energy they have left our after wedding experience with a sour taste! From sharing our private speeches/videos which I strictly told no1 to do, forced us to cancel a glitter bar that had been booked 7 months before our big which was cleared, not showing her face on the morning of the wedding to ask how we were, running out of gin (supposedly a fully stocked bar, floor in the bedroom absolutely filthy, bedrooms weren’t ready as promised, deduction of half our deposit for something Beyond our control with I believe not to be true! numerous unprofessional emails, rude throughout the day! Me and my bridesmaids eating breakfast of the floor! This one person has caused us so much stress we got married back in April and I just haven’t been able to write this till now as it’s ended our wedding feeling so sad upset and stressed! The venue setting is amazing , not only the views but the venue itself,the surrounding areas allow you to truly appreciate the country setting, and there are many areas for relaxing and getting great photos too if you were looking to book your wedding, or christening,birthday..... Anything we are lookig to celebrate we wilk not hesitate to contact the staff for more details ,as they are always happy to help us whatever occasion it may be. Cath the wedding planner was amazing and I can’t wait to get the ball rolling. The place is absolutely beautiful and flows so well between all the different rooms. It’s just perfect. Evening food has to be pizza.
What is your venue's most unique feature?
The three stages of reveal, it means that the venue keeps on expanding, from ceremony and drinks reception area, to the dining space then to the evening bar and dance floor and at the end you get it all plus all the outdoor space and fire pits. Best of all, it's all yours with exclusivity.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
It's been 10 years in the building and we're still adding and improving it... it keeps getting better every year!
