The main thing about venue was it was loved by our guests. And our photoshoot was at this best location. Its been three months but every time we meet our guests. They do talk about venue. We would like to send our sincerest gratitude to you and all the team at the hotel. From start to finish you have been so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Such quick responses to emails and queries. The reception staff were so lovely when we arrived the day before, taking all of our items, cakes etc, sorting out our rooms. Thank you to the pastry chef for sorting out the cake dilemma, fantastic job - it was like it never happened. Special thanks to Mohammed Ben who made us feel relaxed and the day run so smoothly. Food was amazing. Thanks to all the waiters and bar staff for such efficient service. Also thanks for the house keeping staff for tidying, moving bags etc. We can’t thank you all enough for making our dream of a special and memorable day become a reality we can treasure forever. We had our wedding here in the Pickford suite on 5/5/19 and it was quite simply perfect. The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble and our whole day from the ceremony to the last dance was magical. The best day ever!The best day ever!
I had my wedding on 30th June at windmill village and I cannot fault it one bit. Bekie was lovely, professional and knowledgeable throughout the planning process and on the day we had another Becky running the day for us. Nothing was too much trouble and everything went even more smoothly than I could have hoped for. My guests were commenting on how lovely every member of staff were to them. The food was amazing (even if I barely ate anything) it wasn’t because I didn’t enjoy it, I think I was just too overwhelmed to eat! I forgot one of my guests had a nut allergy so when the chocolate brownie was brought out she couldn’t eat it, without question the dessert was changed to ice cream for her. Perfect Wedding!Perfect Wedding!
Well what can I say, my wedding last Saturday was absolutely perfect even the weather shone on us. The photos look fab and the place was amazing!! I wondered if you could pass on my thanks to two special people that were part of our day. Firstly Mohammed he was amazing he was like part of the family, was constantly smiling and made us feel so special. And lastly (I think ) Maya she was fantastic from start to finish. Even working more hours than she should nothing was to much trouble 😊 They really do deserve the recognition and also employees of the month!!! Hope to be back soon for my 40th! Stress Free Day!Stress Free Day!
My husband and I had our wedding reception at The Windmill Village back in December 2017, and could not fault a thing! Bekie Munday was our main contact during the 2 years of planning our wedding. She was very quick to respond to emails (and I sent a lot of emails!), and was able to accommodate all of our needs. We had a couple of meetings with Bekie prior to the wedding - so was nice to put a face to a name, and she explained the order of the day perfectly, nothing was too much trouble. On the day itself, all the staff at the hotel were amazing! Another Becky ran the day, and looked after us and our guests very well. The food brought out (considering there were around 70 people to cater for) was perfect, so thumbs up to the chefs. We did actually eat at the hotel the day after, and again the food was lovely as well as the breakfast buffet. The Waiters and Waitresses supplying our food and drink during the day were excellent and very friendly. Everything ran on time. We had the Pickford Suite, and the staff at the hotel decorated it just as we had asked, and it looked amazing! The hotel itself is lovely, and set within beautiful surroundings. We were fortunate enough to have snow whilst we were there, and this just added to the beauty. We were allocated a beautiful room for our wedding night which overlooked the golf course - stunning in the snow. All in all, we had a very stress free day thanks to the efficiency of the staff at the hotel, and the organisation that Bekie provided. Our wedding was certainly a day to remember! We had a brilliant day and would like to thank you and all of the staff at The Windmill Village Hotel for their professionalism in whatever role they have. Many guests that stayed over the weekend commented what a great hotel is is and how courteous all members of staff were.Food, drink and service were all exemplary! In particular, we would like to mention Maia who was a star on Saturday and made sure every request was taken care of.Our wedding was certainly a day to remember! We had our wedding at the Windmill Village Hotel and from start to finish everything was amazing! They really gave us the best day and we’re lovely people to deal with.
