I couldn’t fault the Blythswood, I had the most perfect day ever. Every little detail was covered, staff were the most amazing, friendly, helpful couldn’t have asked for more. I honestly can’t stress enough what an amazing setting, wonderful staff, fantastic meal. PERFECT 💕I couldn’t fault the Blythswood, I had the most perfect day ever. Booked a last minute wedding at the Blythswood and the team couldn't have been better! I wasn't the kind of bride who'd planned her canapes or flower arrangements at age 5 so the staff were so helpful in taking the stress out of what can snowball into an unnecessarily complicated day. Ultimately it's about marrying the person you love - everything else is fluff. They organised a hair dresser to come in, cake, rooms for guests, access for my mum in a wheelchair... the list goes on! They were fast to respond to emails and great to meet in person. Access to the gardens in the square was another plus. As this wasn't the first wedding for myself or my husband we wanted something intimate and personal as well as elegant and classy. The Blythswood hotel was this for us all the way. From the amazing team they have to the food as well as the setting. Our family and friends along with ourselves had the most amazing day. We have had so many comments from our guests that it was the best wedding they have ever been to. They made our day the most memorable and the setting for photos is just exquisite. We cant thank Laura and the team enough for everything they did for us. From the first meeting, the team at Blythswood made our wedding feel special & we had a warm welcome. On the day we felt content that the hotel had everything in hand. The rooms were beautiful including bedrooms with little touches such as champagne & truffles. I would recommend the Blythswood as a wedding venue as the team are very experienced- showing no dip in excitement even though our wedding was the 3rd in a row that weekend! To top it off you can even relax in the spa the next day after the excitement of the big day. From the first meeting, the team at Blythswood made our wedding feel special & we had a warm welcome. We had the best wedding ever in the 22nd of sept 18, all our guests had an amazing time and talk about it all the time . The staff at the blythswood were absolutely amazing nothing was a bother to anyone. I would 100% recommended anyone to have there wedding at this hotel , you would not be disappointed. We dealt with Laura mccranor she is amazing at her job, wish we could have this day all over again . We had the best wedding ever in the 22nd of sept 18, all our guests had an amazing time and talk about it all the time . Our wedding at the Blythswood Square Hotel was truly tremendous. We felt at ease and welcomed into the Blythswood family even before we had officially booked our date. Every detail and idea was listened to and my husband and I loved working alongside Laura and the team to create our extra special and personalised day. The staff whom we worked with were all friendly and kind. Every guest we have spoken to has rated the Blythswood outstanding and has nothing but positive words to share. We feel extremely lucky to have exchanged our vows for life in a especially special place, somewhere we now hold so close to our hearts. We had an absolutely amazing wedding day, we cannot thank the staff at the Blythswood enough for their care and attention throughout the day. The attention to detail was fantastic, the meal was delicious and all of our guests had a great time. Every wedding is wonderful to be a part of. We once had Alpacha's walk down the aisle with rings which was rather exciting!

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

A couple were getting married, one from Italy and the other from Scotland, and they tied their countries flags during the ceremony as a symbol of unity. It was lovely.

Our private gardens, lobby, chandelier staircase. There are many wonderful places to have your photos taken at Blythswood!

Whipped Goats Cheese and Chive Cornet or Crispy Chilli Squid, Squid Ink Aioli - I can't decide
