Historic Broyle Place is a magniﬁcent Grade II Elizabethan Manor House in rural Sussex, but only 10 minutes from Lewes town which has frequent, direct train connections to London. Surrounded by ancient oaks and ponds fringing the entrance drive, it is a truly magical place making it the perfect background for your dream wedding day Ceremonies are mostly held outside and the oak Boat House, bordered by the moat, is a stunning setting for weddings up to 150 guests. The beautiful manor house is also licensed to host civil ceremonies in the great hall and can seat up to 55 guests. Our elegant, bespoke marquee, which can be decorated to reﬂect your individual style, can seat up to 150 guests for the wedding breakfast and later on everyone will dance the night away before you retire to your Romantic Bridal Suite. Guest accommodation is available in cosy Wooden Lodges and Mongolian Yurts.

This venue was perfect for us. It has plenty of outdoor space but also has areas indoors if it rains on your big day that are just as pretty. Betty who works there is amazing so friendly and helpful all the way through the process. I would highly recommend this venue.This venue was perfect for us. Broyle Place is picture perfect, the perfect size, and the perfect venue. The day went so smoothly and care free, no need to rush from venue to venue. Having the ceremony in the same place as the reception was the best decision we’ve ever made. It was a great atmosphere and the surroundings were beautiful and safe for the children to play without going too far. The yurts and cabins were wonderful and having breakfast in the love bus the following morning was a lovely end to a perfect weekend.Broyle Place is picture perfect, the perfect size, and the perfect venue. The day went so smoothly and care free, no need to rush from venue to venue. Having the ceremony in the same place as the reception was the best decision we’ve ever made. It was a great atmosphere and the surroundings were beautiful and safe for the children to play without going too far. I went to a wedding here last Friday and it’s safe to say that it’s probably the nicest, most beautiful and special wedding venue I have ever been to. The best staff I’ve ever experienced at ANY event. They were so accommodating and attentive, they were really friendly as well and I was having jokes with the bar staff all evening. The food and accommodation was 10 out of 10. I’m just trying to find one of my engaged friends without a venue who I can send your way! Where do we start with how amazing Broyle Place is as a Wedding venue?! Myself and my Wife were lucky enough to get married here in September of this year and I can't thank Betty and her team enough for how amazing they helped made our day. From start to finish, Betty was exceptional. Her communication via email, phone, or the numerous times she met us at the venue to go over things was nothing short of outstanding, not to mention her meticulous attention to detail in ensuring everything ran smoothly on the day. We had our ceremony outside in the beautiful setting of boat house by the stream, where the weather thankfully held out :-) The idyllic 12th century house played a lovely role in hosting our guests when they arrived, and the bridal suite was the perfect accommodation you'd want for your Wedding night. Our guests have not stopped talking about our Wedding venue every time we've seen them since our day, and those that had the privilege of staying over night in the Yurt Village have talked of what a lovely experience they had, not to mention the Love Bus serving up breakfast in the morning too! Thank you once again for help setting the scene and the service you provided on our Wedding day, we will be forever grateful to you guys. Broyle Place is an absolutely stunning wedding venue – we got married here on 23rd May. The grounds are beautiful – lots of room for guests to explore the pretty garden and lake. We even had ducklings attend the ceremony! Octavia & Anthony are extremely friendly and helpful. We also couldn’t have had the day we did without Betty – who answered every one of our multiple emails in the leadup (!) and came up with some great ideas. She was amazing. If you book our wedding here – you’ll not only get a beautiful venue but a fantastic team that want you to have the best day ever.
