Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
All of our Weddings have been incredible! However, the arrival of a bride on a helicopter was very special!
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Use Bridebook's Wedding Planner, it's amazing! You can keep all your wedding plans in one place! Also, always ask questions, whether it be to your venue, florist, venue decorator, DJ etc. ask away! We are all here to help.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
I would say when the Father of The Bride got the Bride and Groom on the dancefloor and handed them an envelope with flight details to their honeymoon which they had no idea about! I think that was amazing and even I got emotional!

Stunning, Spacious, Exclusive, Beautiful and Elegant.
Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
Defiantly down by the lake with the Fountain in the background!
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We have had Anne Hegerty from the Chase and footballer Peter Odemwingie.
What’s your favourite canapé?
Defiantly theMini Yorkshire Puddings filled with Beef!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
I would say a McFlurry from McDonalds and possibly a cheeseburger while I'm there!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
I would say the drapes that our main function room is dressed in as the drapes stay up constantly but they make the room look incredible. They have recently been refurbished and look amazing with the new glass chandeliers and uplifting with the starlit roof.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
All of it, everyone works so hard and we all love working for such a close family. We are treated like family and we love to treat our customers the same! The Directors have grown Calderfields during the 10 years they have owned it and have built and expanded it to what it is now and they should be proud of themselves!
