Our beautiful restaurant and classic Blue Room are both available to hire for your wedding celebration. We also boast one of the largest pub gardens in London, a real urban oasis.
Perfect for both summer and winter weddings, we can work alongside you both to create the day of your dreams.
The hire of our restaurant also includes our beautiful garden terrace and fireside area, perfect for your drinks reception area in winter months. Our capacity for seated meals is 70, however we are able to increase this on request.

- JJulia & Robert08/09/2016A big thank youA big thank youWe held our wedding reception at the Canonbury Tavern in December 2019 and couldn’t have chosen a better venue. From start to finish the team were very friendly, helpful and obviously knew their stuff. On the day although we provided the decorations, the team made the restaurant look magical, the food was excellent and the service was exceptional. Thank you to Sandra, Martin and the team but particular thanks to Justine who looked after us as if we were her own family. She was very professional, extremely attentive and nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this venue to anyone. Thank you again for making our special day so relaxed and enjoyable. I could tell the team has a lot of experience in organising weddings and other private events, which made me feel more relaxed to know it was all in safe hands! The day before I dropped off a few things and how Sandra (and I forgot the other girls name but she was also excellent) consequently transferred the Blue Room into a stylish and elegant place was amazing. In the blue room they also allow people to plug in their phones for music which was great! And the small lunch actually spontaneously became a small party:) I had a perfect day and so much more than expected so thank you!With only a few weeks notice, I organised a small wedding lunch in the blue room. Sandra and her team were so professional, warm and organised. They completely relaxed us throughout the whole process and were so accommodating to what we wanted. They help you decorate the space and helped us so much. The food was also super - and they sorted mulled wine and everything! We are so thankful we came to the Canonbury, it meant for a lot less stress. We had so many compliments for our choice of venue and I can’t recommend it enough.We held our wedding breakfast here in Dec 2019 and cannot express how happy we were with everything. Sandra and her team were so professional, warm and organised. They completely relaxed us throughout the whole process and were so accommodating to what we wanted.
