The rooms themselves are comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. Breakfast was also great. The highlight for me however, were the staff, all of whom were friendly and accommodating. The hotel was delightful, elegantly furnished with restful atmosphere. All of the staff were extremely welcoming, extremely helpful and attentive. A small problem was immediately dealt with to our total satisfaction. We would definitely choose to stay there again. With plenty of hotel options I chose The Castle Hotel as Accor is a brand we know and trust, with standards as high as our own. I rang to organise a surprise weekend away and Bruno took care of all the details recommending their gourmet package which included a suite, dinner and breakfast he was so attentive and helpful I knew we were in safe hands. We've just returned from the most amazing weekend, Bruno and his team provide a superb service, the staff are wonderful and our suite was homely and comfortable. The hotel also provides an amazing champagne afternoon tea which we enjoyed in front of their fire. Our deal included a delicious three course meal in their Marco Pierre White dining room and then the waitress presented my Husband with a gorgeous home made Birthday cake. Breakfast was gorgeous with plenty of choice and beautiful surroundings, the service attentive, personable and polite throughout our stay. The location is ideal for sightseeing and you can reserve a secured parking bay at a very reasonable cost. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend, you'll not be disappointed! We shall certainly be back! We fell in love with the Windsor Suite ballroom on first sight in January 2014, and continued the love affair right through to the end of our Big Day. The food was excellent, the decoration and layout was elegant, the staff were impeccable. We also had a lot of guests staying at the hotel and each of them commented on the 4-star experience...although it can't have come close to the luxury we had in the bridal suite! A wedding day really is a representation of the bride and groom to all their friends and family - of which we are 100% proud! Three weeks on and our guests continue to rave about the day, and the hotel is always mentioned as a huge part of the splendour Thank you so much to the Windsor Castle Hotel for such a fabulous wedding reception on 13th September 2014. Had a Superior room which was lovely, very clean and really comfortable - awesome bed and had a great nights sleep. Highly recommended and will be returning but next time with the family. She was so helpful and asked us every day if things were still ok for us , we felt very comfortable staying there and we will definitely be returning for another visit.. Perfect wedding !We had our wedding reception at the castle hotel on 29th June 2018 this year we are so glad we picked this venue. The day was perfect and the team at castle hotel were helpful and had everything done to perfection. Right from the moment we saw this venue 3 years ago we fell in love with the Windsor suite and knew this is where we wanted to celebrate our special day in the beautiful ballroom. Kate was our planner and she made sure the day was everything we wanted and help us with all our needs. The food was out of this world and really catered for my allergy and the guests are still saying now how fabulous the food and service was. Monica was our event planner for the day and she was absolutely amazing. She made sure everything was set up on time , all the food was out on time and that myself and my husband was satisfied and our guests. I can't thank the castle hotel enough for the amazing service and food they did for us on our wedding day and all the planning to the run up of the day. I would recommend any bride or groom who are looking for the perfect venue to go with the castle hotel. We will definitely revisit the castle hotel for our first wedding anniversary and I have been since for my birthday afternoon tea which was lovely. One of my favourite hotels in the area and it holds one of the best memories in my life !
