Our beautiful suites are licensed to host Civil Wedding Ceremonies and Civil Partnerships, allowing you to have your entire Wedding in one location.
From the moment you wake up on your wedding day in our luxurious bedroom, to the end of the evening when you want to take your heels off and climb back in to bed, everything is taken care of. You will have a dedicated Master of Ceremonies who will be on hand all day leaving you free to relax and capture every moment.

- MMr and Mrs Pleasance30/04/2020Amazing Wedding Day Amazing Wedding DayWe had our Wedding Day yesterday and what a amazing day it was.. we first met Steph many months ago and she is a amazing lady, reassured us that every thing will be great and so it was, she made it perfect for us and helped us plan the whole lot. On the day she came up to my room with Nicola who was our coordinator for the day and they both greeted me and my family, who I was with, and I was very nervous. They both had a amazing attitude and kept reassuring me that I would be OK, I was very nervous, I can’t thank Steph enough for what she has done for us. Moving on to our Wedding Breakfast, The chefs where amazing, the food was amazing, and they made sure every one of our wedding party and guests were OK and nothing was to much for them. Nicola and Jordan looked after us for the evening. Jordan is very professional and amazing, nothing is to much for him and he clearly takes pride in his work, he made sure every thing was just perfect and it really was....Perfect! Such a great team, every thing was amazing from start to finish and we couldn’t be happier, but a huge thanks to Steph, Nicola and Jordan, you have such a great team and we are a Happy Bride and Groom! Love always.. Everything went so smoothly and the staff couldn’t do enough for you before the wedding and on the day! Big thank you to Stefanie, Nicola and Jordan who made our day so special! The venue is very modern and clean and the Garden Suite (Ceremony Room) and Orchard Suit (Wedding Breakfast and Evening Reception) was dressed beautifully. There was nothing we could fault with this venue and had so many comments about how perfect the day was and how lovely the staff and food was too. My wife slept at the hotel the night before our wedding and she had an amazing dinner in the Blossom's Restaurant. The day of the wedding could not have ran any smoother and you haven't got to worry a thing, as its all in hand. You are kept up to date of everything from the moment you book to the moment you say " I Do" Incredible service from the whole team and also the suppliers that the hotel recommends. It all just added to our amazing day. If you really want to take your day to the next level these guys business's will do just that! - SShan Hucker30/04/2020A Truly Magical DayA Truly Magical DayWe wanted a big wedding but without all of the stress of having to book and keep in touch with several different suppliers. This is where the DoubleTree and Stephanie was perfect. We booked the all inclusive package which meant that pretty much everything was done for us hassle free, leaving us to enjoy the build up to the big day. Nothing was too much to ask and on the evening before our wedding my sister and I were treated to a gorgeous three course meal and a beautiful room, making the build up and preparation even more special and exciting. The addition of an all you can eat breakfast delivered to our room the next day was brilliant and meant we could stay in our room to prepare for the day. The day itself went without a hitch and we were well looked after by both Stephanie and Nicola, the master of ceremonies. The ceremony was beautiful and emotional and a lot of hard work had been put into making the area look stunning. The guests were very complimentary of the wedding breakfast and all of the staff were accommodating to a variety of dietary needs. Extra food and ice cream was even brought out free of charge to some of our bigger eaters! When the evening guests started to arrive, they were in awe of the beautiful set up of the orchard suite. Staff were on hand all night to ask if there was anything we needed and to talk us through the plan of the evening. Nicola was fantastic at helping to organise the extra special event of our baby gender reveal after the first dance. Overall, an absolutely amazing day and night and we’re so grateful to the DoubleTree for making our day perfect! What a brilliant day it was and we cant thank the events and hotel team enough. The venue itself is beautiful and with the extra touches from the events team it was an amazing back drop for so many beautiful photos and memories. Their planning and delivery was meticulous and the food was good too. A specific thank you to Rosalyn who helped with so much of the planning and to Tara who ensured everything went smooth on the day & of course to the rest of the team who helped make it happen in such a professional friendly manner. LOCATION - The DoubleTree by Hilton Nottingham –Gateway is strategically located on the A610, only one mile from Junction 26 of the M1 motorway, and three miles from Nottingham city centre. For those travelling by car the hotel has 200 free parking spaces. The hotel benefits from excellent public transport links with bus
stops that connect to the heart of the city just steps away, and Phoenix Park tram stop located less than half a mile from the hotel. Definitely weddings! We host many weddings at the hotel each year. It is so special to see how happy the special couple and their guests are on the day of the wedding. Its very rewarding!
