Skitby is an award winning venue that is licensed for Civil ceremonies and offers venue exclusivity to all of its couples. We are a beautiful venue as our guests inform us “filled with fun, love and twinkly lights” From the point of viewing Skitby for the very first time we create a relaxed and flexible environment for our couples. Our flexible approach to our menus and ideas means that our couples do not need to compromise their outlook on their dream day; we do our very best to make sure their visions become a reality. I've had the pleasure of conducting a wedding ceremony at Skitby House. The venue is gorgeous and the staff are just incredible. Their attention to detail is second to none and they go above and beyond to make sure guests and suppliers are well looked after. I adore Skitby. Our special day was simply amazing all thanks to the outstanding team at Skitby House. It truly was the most perfect day from beginning to the very end. We could not have planned the day without the amazing Katherine as she helped us with every little detail and made our day run seamlessly. Chris also played a big part doing all of our stunning wedding flowers and making sure the delicious food was cooked and served to perfection, we can’t thank them both enough! We didn’t stop smiling all day! Our special day was simply amazing all thanks to the outstanding team at Skitby House. It truly was the most perfect day from beginning to the very end. We could not have planned the day without the amazing Katherine as she helped us with every little detail and made our day run seamlessly. Skitby House exceeded all expectations of our perfect wedding day and truly created a fairytail venue for us. They made everything so easy and simple and the day was beyond the perfection you dream of for your wedding day - it was our own. Every single guest complimented the Venue and even commented "the most beautiful place for a wedding we've ever been to" and "so intimate yet relaxed!". I cannot express how simply stunning this venue is and how amazing the staff there are. A real hidden gem. Skitby House exceeded all expectations of our perfect wedding day and truly created a fairytail venue for us. Our son and daughter in law got married at Skitby on 11th August this year. The day was perfect from start to finish. Kathryn and all of the staff were truly amazing, nothing was any trouble. They certainly helped to make Steven and Luc's wedding day the Fairytale wedding that they had dreamed of ❤❤Our son and daughter in law got married at Skitby on 11th August this year. We had our wedding here a couple of weeks ago it was the best day of our lives. From the amazing venue to the outstanding food served. Everything was perfect nothing was to much for them. Katherine was brilliant from sorting all the decorations out to keeping everything running smoothly. Couldn’t of asked for a better venue. All the guest said how amazing the wedding was. One of the best they have been to!!!We had our wedding here a couple of weeks ago it was the best day of our lives. From the amazing venue to the outstanding food served. The Skitby team are amazing especially Katherine. The food was outstanding and throughout the whole process of arranging our wedding Katherine made everything so enjoyable for us and gave us some great ideas along the way. We've had loads of great compliments from our friends and family who attended. The venue is amazing and you won't be disappointed. The best day of our lives, we would love to do it all over again.The Skitby team are amazing especially Katherine. Amazing day everAmazing day ever
We held our wedding here in August, it was the most amazing day of our lives. Couldn't of dreamed of anything better. We were made welcome from the get go. Katherine made everything so easy. The food was to the for, went down very well with everyone. Staff at skitby were all wonderful and got all with all of our guests. Beautiful grounds for pictures and the venue is stunning and you can put your own touch things, not that it needed much. I've worked with Skitby House numerous times in 2018 and everytime the weddings have been outstanding. Such a well run venue with friendly and approachable staff, a great atmosphere and very happy brides and grooms. I love working at this venue and look forward to working with them more in the future.
