Horwood House is a charming English country home that is conveniently located just a few miles outside Milton Keynes. The grounds are filled with woodland, wildflowers, a picturesque pagoda, and one extremely elegant lily pond. You can choose either an indoor or an outdoor civil ceremony, and in either case will be able to take full advantage of your stunning surroundings. If you are looking for a charming and elegant country setting for your wedding, you can't go wrong with Horwood House. Horwood House also has 185 ensuite bedrooms meaning that you and your guests can make a weekend out of your event. If you were looking to bespoke your catering options, we can offer our dry hire packages. This package would be suitable for guests up to 190 day guests and up to 250 guests in the evening in our Cook suite based in the modern wing. This package starts from £4000 including VAT. Dry hire package inclusions: • Your catering company will be chosen from our approved caterer list. • Full day room hire • Kitchen space • Tables & banqueting chairs • Duty manager to oversee the event but not to run the event. • Unlimited corkage • Staff to setup the room for the first set up at the beginning of the day and clear down at the end.

The food was amazing!The food was amazing!

Throughout the planning process and leading up to our big day Sarnae was an absolute superstar - nothing was ever too much trouble and communication was amazing. I’m so thankful to have someone like her leading up to our big day and to keep my nerves at ease. To top it off she wasn’t wrong when she said she was leaving me in good hands with their events team. We then met Miriam and she went above and beyond for us both on the day of the wedding. The whole Horwood team leading up to the wedding especially the team on the day were fantastic. A huge thank you to those guys, we had the perfect day. We would really recommend anyone looking for a wedding venue near Milton Keynes. We had our wedding in July and had the best time ever. We held our wedding at Horwood House in July 2019. Sarnae, Miriam and Sophie, along with their whole team made sure we had the most perfect day. We loved every minute, as did all of our family and friends. The best thing of all is that we did not have to worry about anything at all. They had it totally covered and under control. Our wedding day was so memorable for the care and effort that went into our day. The help from Sarnae in the lead up and planning and the with Miriam and her team on the day. Every detail was perfect. All of our family and guests have told us after what an amazing day. Horwood Estate and their staff treated us like royalty. If you are looking for a place to hold your wedding, book Horwood Estate, we really recommend them.Our wedding day was so memorable for the care and effort that went into our day. Well talk about a welcome mat they did not just put it out for us - the staff were that good we thought they had wrapped it around us! The whole set up of our wedding was perfect. They welcomed all of our guests and made them all feel very welcome we would highly recommend Horwood House for the ideal weekend get away and a special event. In December 2018 we got married at Horwood House and my wife and I can only say amazing things about the day itself, the venue and the team who helped us through. Mollie Hawkes was our Wedding Coordinator and she guided us through all the way. We also had her to hand with the inevitable queries/questions, she made us feel at ease and was always happy to help. On the day we have Miriam and her team running the show and everything went brilliantly. Both Mollie and Miriam (and her team) could not come more highly recommended by my wife and I and I would recommend to anyone to get married at Horwood House.In December 2018 we got married at Horwood House and my wife and I can only say amazing things about the day itself, the venue and the team who helped us through. Travel Notes

From the M1 South: Leave the M1 at junction 13 and take the A421 towards Milton Keynes, Bletchley and Buckingham. This is the main road through Milton Keynes so you will go over about 15 roundabouts. The last of these is called the ‘Bottledump’. After one mile go straight over the roundabout with Mursley signposted on your left. Take the next left signposted Little Horwood (this is a small road – take care not to miss it!). Follow this road into Little Horwood and when you pass the Shoulder of Mutton pub on your left, take the next road on your left towards Mursley, Leighton Buzzard and Horwood Estate. The centre is on your right after approximately 3/4 mile. From the M1 North: Leave the M1 at junction 14 signposted to Newport Pagnell, turning right onto the A509 towards Milton Keynes. Immediately after this, take the A5130 towards Woburn Sands. This road leads onto the A421 towards Milton Keynes, Bletchley and Buckingham and is the main road through Milton Keynes so you will go over about 15 roundabouts. The last of these is called the ‘Bottledump’. After one mile go straight over the roundabout with Mursley signposted on your left. Take the next left signposted Little Horwood (this is a small road – take care not to miss it!). Follow this road into Little Horwood and when you pass the Shoulder of Mutton pub on your left, take the next road on your left signed Mursley, Leighton Buzzard and Horwood Estate. The centre is on the right after approximately 3/4 mile. From the M40 South: Leave the M40 at junction 10 and take the A43 towards Brackley. At the first roundabout take the A421 towards Buckingham and Milton Keynes. Keep to the A421 and after 17 miles go straight over a roundabout. Great Horwood is signposted on the right. Take the next road on the right for Little Horwood. At the Tjunction turn right and travel into Little Horwood, past the Shoulder of Mutton pub on the left. Take the next road on your left for Mursley, Leighton Buzzard and Horwood Estate. The centre is on the right after approximately 3/4 mile. From the M40 North: Leave the M40 at junction 11 for Banbury and take the left turn onto the A422 towards Brackley and Buckingham. Follow this road for 15 miles into the centre of Buckingham, taking the ‘all routes’ signs onto the A421 towards Milton Keynes and Bletchley. Follow this road for a further 4 miles and you will go straight over a roundabout signed Great Horwood to your right. Take the next road on your right onto the A421 towards Milton Keynes and Bletchley. Follow this road for a further 4 miles and you will go straight over a roundabout signed Great Horwood to your right. Take the next road on your right signed for Little Horwood. At the T-junction turn right into Little Horwood, going past the Shoulder of Mutton pub on your left. Take the next left road for Mursley, Leighton Buzzard and Horwood Estate. The Centre is 3/4 mile along on your right.
