Set amidst the tranquil splendour of the North Wessex Downs, Esseborne is the perfect venue for weddings with its intimate atmosphere, picturesque garden, luxurious bedrooms and a variety of elegant public rooms.
Civil ceremonies and receptions for up to 80 guests can be held in the elegant Tapestry Room while larger receptions can be held in a Marquee on the lawn. Evening parties for up to 120 guests can be held in the hotel.
We offer you exclusive use of our hotel at no extra cost if your guests take a number of our bedrooms, thereby providing you, whatever the weather, with an exclusive and intimate venue for your very special day.
Esseborne is a family run hotel and we take pride in arranging all weddings to your exact requirements. We will be available and at your service from the day you book your wedding, all through the planning stage, and on the day will ensure your DREAM wedding.

- MMrs S22/11/2018Could have been perfectCould have been perfectMy husband and I thought we'd found the perfect venue for our wedding - the owner was flexible with the menu, the price was incredible and the setting was a dream come true. However, he then booked in a 'regular' for the night before our wedding months before we had final RSVP's from guests and refused to give us that room. She was then extremely rude to myself and my husband, shouting at me on the morning of our wedding, something which could have been avoided had she been refused the room. The owner hardly spoke to us all day, ignored my very reasonable requests for a fan at dinner, instead opening a door far away from me on a 36 degree day in August and refused to put the wine out on the table. Instead, it was hidden away in the corridor, presumably so we wouldn't notice if it wasn't all opened - definitely a cost saving exercise. If we were doing things again, I don't think I'd choose them, which is a shame as a few small differences and it would have been perfect.
