Built from six types of Cotswold stone, this unique 4 Red Star country house hotel is set in the heart of a 40 acre estate and has been the ancestral seat of the Shirley family since 1086. Our Stratford wedding venue is licensed for civil ceremonies and partnerships, we have areas for outdoor wedding ceremonies and yours will be the only wedding at Ettington Park on your chosen date. I had a 61 person wedding at Ettington Park hotel and it was the best day! The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and our photographs look amazing. Amazing Perfect Wedding Amazing Perfect Wedding
It feels very very surreal indeed! We had such an amazing perfect day and can’t thank all the staff at Ettington Park enough!! Every single guest was absolutely blown away by our choice in venue, it really is such a beautiful hotel, each one commented on the amazing food and runnings of the day. Massive thank you to yourself, Charlie, Silvio and the other gentleman barman which I didn’t catch his name. Of course all the other staff which helped with our day. There will be something in the post for you! Yes, please use any of our photos on any site! It would be our pleasure.It feels very very surreal indeed! Really felt at home and part of the family Really felt at home and part of the family
From the first time we visited Ettington Park Hotel we were made to feel incredibly welcome. We instantly knew it was the perfect venue for our wedding, not just by the grandeur of the buildings and the beautiful views but by the team being so passionate about their jobs, even the head chef proudly taking the time to explain his wedding tasters to every perspective couple visiting that day. It was great to meet Becky our wedding co-ordinator on Day 1 too, as we immediately could tell she would be super helpful and support us every step of the way, which she did. Becky was friendly and efficient and really easy to communicate with over the course of the wedding planning. She was very patient with us and went above and beyond to make our day so special. On our wedding day we really felt at home and part of the family with the whole team being as excited as we were for the wedding. Special thank you's to Cliff, Damien, Stephen and Thomas for all helping us settle in the day before the wedding and for really getting involved on the day. There are other staff that were great too but sadly I cant remember their names. Amazing Ettington Team Amazing Ettington Team
Basically we said that you and all your team at Ettington were amazing and provided is with a dream wedding. We were blown away by it all. Obviously it is a stunning venue but what really made the different was the level of personal service we received. We had a little blip when we booked the wedding a year back but since you were involved we could not have been happier. From the moment my daughter and I arrived the night before nothing was too much trouble and we were treated like VIPs!!! All our guests remarked on how lovely the venue and the team were as well. The food was delicious for the wedding breakfast as were the actual breakfasts. Charlie who looked after us on the day was lovely and really supportive and efficient. We also really appreciated the little unexpected treats like being put in a lovely room the night before and the personalised teddy on the night of our wedding. So a big thank you to you and the amazing Ettington team.Basically we said that you and all your team at Ettington were amazing and provided is with a dream wedding. We were blown away by it all. We both had a brilliant day, thank you. Everything went as we hoped, and have zero negative feedback on anything! All of our guests seemed to enjoy the day, and the hotel, as much as we did which is all we could have hoped for. All of the staff on the day, and in fact over the 3 days we were there, were just lovely and would have done anything for us. Please pass on our thanks to them. Thank you so much for your help in organising our day. You're a credit to the hotel! Mr & Mrs Niven :)We both had a brilliant day, thank you. We would like to thank you and everyone at Ettington Park for a very memorable weekend. From the very first meeting with you to our final departure, it has been a pleasure planning and experiencing a very special event. I am sure you would be interested in the comments of our guests who came from all over the UK and Canada. Everyone was extremely complimentary about the hotel and its staff who responded in a positive manner to every query and request. We never had any doubt that our guests would be thrilled with the venue and that is born out by those who chose to book extra days in the hotel. With regards to the wedding itself, everything went just as we had planned. The food and service was excellent and can we particularly mention the beef main course and desert. While we did get the opportunity to briefly thank the chef, can you please pass on our compliments and the comments of many guests that the desert was the best chocolate dessert they had ever had! On a more personal note, can we single out Cliff and Damon. Cliff was the perfect event manager on the day, handling everyone of our requests and unforeseen things which popped up in a calm manner and with a smile on his face. Damon is a ball of energy, responding to every guest's needs with great enthusiasm. Once again, thank you for everything and we wish you well in the future. We had an absolutely perfect day! Please pass on a huge thank you to Cliff and the team, they did such a brilliant job. All staff were fantastic and most guests commented on how great they were, as well as how beautiful the venue was. The whole day was perfect. Cliff calmed me on the morning with how in control and well informed he was - and subsequently, although I did not speak to him much as I was so busy, I can tell how important he was in the smooth running of the day. On the day itself, it was in no small part due to the professionalism of the staff and the smooth running of events that I was able to be very relaxed and really enjoy the day and take it all in. That is so important. Staff weren’t intrusive at any point but were always there for any requests or to make sure we were happy. The food was delicious - the main dinner, and breakfast both mornings. Everyone was wowed by the venue and the grounds, and we felt so lucky and special having the whole place to ourselves. We wanted to thank everyone at Ettington for all your fantastic work and help throughout our wedding planning and day! We had a fantastic day and couldn't have picked a better place! All of our guests commented on how beautiful a spot Ettington was, with a lot of our guests calling it "the castle"! We fell in love with Ettington from the first moment we saw it and it was the most fantastic and breathtaking venue for our wedding reception, the architecture being so beautiful both inside and out that the rainy weather did not put a dampen on our day or our wedding photos, in fact it only complimented! (we'll forward on the photos as soon as we have them). The day ran very smoothly and all stresses were alleviated by the fantastic hospitality team, we wanted to especially thank Zoe who looked after us incredibly well and made us feel at ease throughout the day. The food was exquisite (honestly the best meal we've ever had)! We're just sorry it was over so soon! We are definately going to be coming back for our anniversaries in the years to come.We wanted to thank everyone at Ettington for all your fantastic work and help throughout our wedding planning and day!
