After looking around, we knew it ticked all the boxes. Located in an old Underground station, it had two amazing exposed brick arches, was right in the middle of Shoreditch, close to the Town Hall and had bags of character. Because the venue had two separate rooms, we could have the wedding breakfast in one Arch and the party in the other without people having to hang around whilst things were set up. We were also able to extend the license until 2am so we didn’t have to stop the party early which was also big thing for us." Because Kachette is a blank canvas venue, every wedding is different which we love. Its hard to choose a favourite but we have had some great reception parties for same sex couples this year.

Be upfront with your wedding budget. We want to make sure we can organise everything you need within your budget. Whether your planning a three course meal or a standing reception with street food vendors, our experienced events team are happy to help and are transparent with our rates and booking terms from the beginning so there are no nasty surprises.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
Using a variety of lights can really set the mood for your wedding and ensure your wedding photos look great too. Lanterns, fairy lights and up-lighters are all great choices and worth paying the extra money for.

The clock entrance, which was the original ticket hall of Shoreditch railway station.

What is your venue's most unique feature?
The low arched ceiling in Arch 1 creates a great atmosphere for wedding receptions and parties.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
We have a great team at Shoreditch London. We often get positive feedback from wedding clients about how calm, friendly and accommodating our event managers are. We also have a network of trusted suppliers for everything from catering and security to lighting and furniture.
