Description
Kilmore Country House is an Historic manor house situated in the heart of the Glens of Antrim. It boasts stunning views of the Mull of Kintyre and Red Bay as well as the cliffs and waterfalls of Glenariffe. We are licensed to hold both civil and religious ceremonies. Kilmore consists of two separate onsite venues. For smaller weddings of 80 and below, our elegantly decorated Ballylig room is the perfect venue to hold your intimate wedding reception. For weddings of up to 230, we have a luxury outdoor pavilion with a patio extension with perspex ceilings so you don't miss out on any of our spectacular views.
We have onsite accommodation that will cater for up to 35 people which will be available exclusively to your guests. The venue is exclusively yours for your wedding day.
We have our own dedicated chef who can create whatever menu you have in mind.

I may be a little bias as I grew up in the glens but the location is only one of the many amazing things that Kilmore has to offer. From the moment you meet the team you are treated as a friend and you are sure that your wedding is in the best possible hands. No ask was too big or too small, and as we all know the nearer the wedding gets, the asks can get pretty ridiculous! Tina and Colleen are just amazing, you really couldn't ask for more and are on hand for anything you could possibly need. We had the most fabulous time at our wedding and the food was unbelievable. We would do it all again in a heartbeat. I honestly cannot recommend Kilmore House enough!!! 😊Where do I even begin? We were confident from Day 1 that Colleen understood how we wanted our day to be and she made it happen for us even with all the challenges we threw in! Kilmore is a fantastic venue in a stunning setting, it has excellent facilities, beautiful decor and the food is amazing but I would say the best thing about Kilmore is the staff who went all out to make the day perfect for us and our guests. From our first visit we loved the house, the grounds, that view and Tina with her laid back, friendly personality made it impossible to not choose it! Tina made it very clear we could have any type of wedding we wanted and nothing was too much bother for anyone. The ceremony was intimate, using half of the main function room for our 40 guests. Between the ceremony and the meal we relaxed in the bar area and outside when it wasn't raining! The food was outstanding and all of our guests were very impressed with both the quality of the food and the attentiveness of all the staff. One of them even drove my friend to antrim A&E at 1am after a dancing catastrophe! If you want a relaxed, stress free wedding day in a venue with a homely atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, friendly staff, tasty food and the perfect Tina.... The venue was most impressive and everything went according to plan- not a hitch. From the canopies to the delicious meal and then the pokes of fish and chips. It was all simply superb. The staff were polite and courteous and carry out their duties under the guidance of Colleen.I know for all that to come together you need a good manager and you certainly have that with Colleen. A delightful professional you lady who couldn't do enough for us. It was certainly a day to remember and I thanks you most sincerely. Had the pleasure of attending my cousin Daniel's wedding on Saturday here. The place is outstanding and will be sure to host many more weddings, the views & setting of Kilmore make this place so beautiful! Staff were all so friendly and helpful the owner even dropped my parents to their accommodation at the end of the night. Food was amazing throughout the whole day. At our angel the views are stunning overlooking the queen of the glens, Glenariffe. Also, within 2 miles either way is a long sandy beach and mountain waterfalls.
