Firstly we would like to congratulate you both on your engagement.
Our venue is truly unique for the Dorset area offering a beautiful and historic 16th Century Purbeck stone barn, accompanied by 25 bedrooms, which range from singles through to family suites. We can accommodate up to 60 of your guests comfortably.
We hold a civil licence which permits you to marry either in our barn or outside in the Pagoda situated in the Lower Courtyard.
We only ever take one wedding per weekend which permits you the opportunity to have access from 9am the day prior right through to midday the day after your wedding, and the option of exclusivity across the entire venue.
We have an extremely talented chef who will tailor make a menu of your choosing to ensure you can have your day, your way. We can send you our menu pack on request however if you do wish to have something off the menu we are very flexible with food and we can create anything you would like. We also can cater for any dietary requirements.

The location, the views, the staff, the food, the accommodation, the atmosphere, everything was flawless. Bobbie is amazing, I was a nervous bride and constantly emailing her with questions and she was calm, patient and reassuring, exactly what I needed, although I must have driven her mad! Thank you so much for making that whole weekend the best of our lives.Many of our guests have said that ours was the best wedding they have ever been to, and that was completely down to Kingston Country Courtyard. The location, the views, the staff, the food, the accommodation, the atmosphere, everything was flawless. The accommodation was ideal and the food excellent. The food is fantastic, the setting sublime and the whole team that make it happen front of house and behind the scenes are totally terrific! The barn is beautiful and can be decorated so that each event is unique. One of the many advantages is the B&B accommodation for so many. Truly lovely place and people. ♥️I have been to three weddings, two birthday parties (one was my own!), two wine tastings and numerous other events at Kingston Country Courtyard. The food is fantastic, the setting sublime and the whole team that make it happen front of house and behind the scenes are totally terrific! On the Friday night, most people stayed at the barn. We had the bar open and the team were kind enough to let us serve our own bbq. The wedding on the Saturday was the most perfect day! The team were so organised and I didn’t have to worry about anything. I was a very relaxed and unorganised bride and the team were fabulous at understanding what we wanted for our day and delivering it. The communication from them was excellent. We both had the most amazing weekend and everything about it was perfect!We got married here in may 2018. It was a stunning venue and was fabulous. The wedding day was handled very well - we had the drinks reception in the reception room with the drinks being topped up often! The actual reception with the meal and dancing was up in the barn and they'd let the couple decorate the room to suit them, which was absolutely lovely. It was such a beautiful venue for the reception and I can see why my friends chose it! You could order drinks from the bar and charge them to your room which was very helpful when I had no cash on me. Although they don't serve dinner at the hotel, a helpful member of staff recommended we visit the pub down the road called the Scott's Arms the day before the wedding. The food there was very tasty and it was only a short walk down the road (most of the other wedding guests were there too!) This was a lovely place to stay and a beautiful wedding reception venue and I'd love to come again one day. Stayed: April 2018, travelled as a coupleWonderful stay for a Wedding... - NNatalie and Kieran Edwards30/05/2018Like no other BarnLike no other BarnWhen looking for a venue we were at first a little dubious as neither of us are from Dorset. We needed to find a venue that was accessible to our darling Aunty Mary, who is wheelchair bound. Her attendance was our reason for planning our wedding in Dorset, and we were determined to find the perfect place. Our aunt and uncle suggested a few places. There was something special about Kingston Country Courtyard. The views in particular are absolutely stunning, looking out over rolling countryside, the beautiful ruins of Corfe Castle and much to our surprise a steam train puffing along in the distance on the Swanage Railway. It was rather like stepping back in time, in the best way possible! My mother’s family come from India and so we decided in homage to her past we would bring an Indian vibe to the wedding through colour and our outfits. My bridesmaids wore beautiful multicoloured sarees (Aarti Sarees, London). I couldn't resist a traditional English gown for the ceremony, (Tilly Mint, Fleet. Dress ‘Caitlyn’ by MGNY) I teamed this with Indian jewellery and later changed into an Indian lehenga, (full skirt and cropped long sleeve top) in beautiful embroidered florals with corals, blues, golds and greens. My little flower girls wore brightly coloured Salwaar Kameez, (bejewelled tunics and trousers.) The boys wore navy suits with varying jewel coloured ties. I am very lucky that my lovely mum, Chrissie Wilkinson is a very gifted florist. She arranged all the flowers for us, which was very special. My bouquet has been dried, and others were left on the graves of those we love who sadly couldn't be there on our big day. The barn at Kingston Country Courtyard is beautiful. It is not like other barns, the cool grey stone gives it an entirely different look. It it simple; and left us with a total blank canvas. Whilst shopping for sarees in Southall, the ‘little India’ of London, I came across some beautiful multicoloured embroidered parasols. I had the vision of suspending this from the ceiling of the barn - the effect was amazing. We teamed this with bright table cloths, lots of candles, lanterns, draped fabrics. Mostly we wanted a super bright, happy day. The ceremony itself took place at St. Mary’s Chapel, at Lulworth Castle. We wanted the balance of a grand, sweeping castle setting and the relaxed, cool vibe of the barn for later on. We were lucky to have ‘Gospel Touch’ gospel choir sing, we went for a Sister Act vibe which was beyond joyful! Back at the barn we had a mix of amazing canapés, and in keeping with the groom’s Irish/Welsh background we opted for bangers and varying types of mash. Our puddings were a mix of our favourites, peanut butter brownies, pavlova and cheesecakes. All were made by Kingston Country Courtyard and tasted amazing. In the evening we ate a lot of cheese, that KCC sources for us. The bonus feature of this location is the adjoining B&B which we had exclusive use of. Our immediate wedding party could all stay and be fed which was amazing. Bobbi and Lara who run KCC were integral in the planning for our wedding. They were super helpful, knowledgeable and patient with us planning from a distance. The staff at the Courtyard were extremely helpful and friendly, they went above and beyond to help us out.
