Le Gothique is situated within the Royal Victoria Patriotic Building at the northern end of Wandsworth Common. Approached by a dedicated access bridge (John Archer Way) 15 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by car from Clapham Junction mainline services.

The food was absolutely delicious and served with excellent precision and timing. The atmosphere was fantastic and the tables were set beautifully. Even the weather held up! We could not fault a single thing, as Mark, the proprietor, took great care of us. He definitely knows his stuff when it comes to organising weddings and I would highly recommend him and his fantastic team. It was a wedding day to remember, and this is due to all the planning, input and gems of advice from Le Gothique. Thank you for all that you did for us, and for giving us a wedding reception sent from heaven! On September 8th, 2018, we had our much anticipated wedding reception at Le Gothique. Everyone enjoyed the flavours from our very unusual Asian/Eurpoean menu. Mark and his chefs went out of their way to assist us with the menu planning. We could see that a lot of hard work went into this. Elliot was brilliant. So too was the owner Mark's son, Andrew, who was consatantly on hand to help. This wedding was never going to be a run of the mill occasion. The menu was very important to us and Fred in the kitchen really delivered Congratulations for making our wedding June 30th 2018 such a lovely day. Food served at the reception was lovely. Both food and drinks reasonably priced. Staff very pleasant. Had a lovely day, the outdoor alfresco setting is unique. Added bonus the weather was fabulous too! Le Gothique hosted our wedding day celebrations. Beautiful surroundings, very picturesque, ideal venue for a romantic wedding. Food served at the reception was lovely. Both food and drinks reasonably priced. Staff very pleasant. Had a lovely day, the outdoor alfresco setting is unique. The garden is beautiful, the food utterly delicious and the whole day ran so smoothly. I would like to thank Mark, Elliot and the team for their help in planning the day, tailoring everything to our requests and making everything run like clockwork. The best weddings are always the ones with the best guests. People who want to get together with their friends and relatives and really enjoy the day with great food and drink and enjoy each others company.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Do not get bogged down by irrelevant detail. Get the basics right and the rest will follow. The Food and Drink are the most important. But most great weddings will be remembered long after for their post meal party atmosphere not over whether the chairs had expensive covers or the colour of the napkin rings.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
Instead of boring place names for each guest. Ask them to RSVP with a photo of themselves at any age from babe to adult and use this picture as their place name. Great fun, especially if older photos of the guest are sent.

Le Gothique keeps a celebrity book of guests and their signatures over the past 30 years. Over 100 from Helen Mirren to Take That and Rolling Stones members through to Olympic Champions. The book can be privately viewed and is ever increasing in volume
