- JJanine & Christian13/11/2018Simply the best Simply the bestwere lucky enough to hold our wedding service and reception at Llwyn Country House 2 weeks ago and we were not disappointed with the venue and staff. The boutique hotel is set in a picturesque location and the decor is simply stunning and really provides a cosy and intimate setting, which really adds to the atmposhere and emotion of the day. We can't thank Elin and her staff enough for everything they did. Elin went above and beyond what we would have expected, and nothing was too much trouble for her both before, on and after our big day. We booked out all the rooms at the hotel for guests and were also able to use a cottage that belongs to them for extra guests. The newly renovated rooms are very luxurious and immaculate. The cottage is ideal, clean and roomy and it had everything you could need. The menu and food that Sion produced for our canapes and hot buffet reception was stunning, tasty and delicious and there was plenty to go around; all plates were empty! Breakfast on the Sunday morning was also of a high standard and again both Elin and Sion were on hand to ensure our guests were looked after. The staff on the day and evening of the were just like family and helped us feel relaxed and made sure we were happy and nothing was too much trouble for them. We hired a marquee from Absolute Marquees (highly recommend) and Elin took over all the correspondence and organisation with the company, again ensuring less stress for an already stessed bride! We would highly recommend having your wedding here as it really is a beautiful place and the staff are simply amazing.
