OUR GROUNDS: Set at the end of a long tree-lined drive in delightful surroundings and convenient for local churches, the hotel’s sweeping lawns and historic sunken garden provide a unique and picturesque backdrop for your wedding photographs. Attractively landscaped grounds in the summer and open fires and oak panelling in the winter set the perfect romantic scene. CIVIL CEREMONIES: You can choose to hold your civil ceremony in our stunning Charter Suite for up to 180 guests; our Bracebridge Room for up to 60 guests; our outside in our historical Sunken Garden for up to 180 guests. WEDDING RECEPTIONS: Our Charter Suite is the perfect space for your wedding reception for up to 180-day time guests and up to 250 guests in the evening. For smaller wedding receptions The Oak Room restaurant has sweeping views over the surrounding parkland and is perfect for receptions of 30 to 60 guests. WEDDING PACKAGES: We have a range of packages to help you plan your wedding starting with Silver for £99 per person which includes a welcome drink, four course wedding breakfast, half a bottle of house wine per person, glass of sparkling wine for the toasts, evening finger buffet, red carpet, silk floral table arrangements, menu tasting for the couple, overnight stay for the couple and wedding reception room hire – and much more. THE NIGHT BEFORE YOUR WEDDING: Our new Wedding Preparation Suite is perfect for the night before the wedding. The suite can sleep up to 4 people with the four-poster bed and sofa bed and there is an adjoining room that sleeps another 2. Then on the morning of the wedding there is plenty of space for everyone to get ready – with lots of mirrors and hooks to hang dresses.

PERFECTION!PERFECTION!
We held our wedding at Moor Hall in December 2018. From the start to finish our stay and wedding were perfect. Firstly nothing was too much trouble, the staff - in particular Joanne and Jamie were amazing, guiding us through the day and checking we were happy and had what we wanted. The room was beautiful and the wedding breakfast outstanding. We could not have asked for a better day or more helpful staff. We highly recommend Moor Hall as a wedding venue. In January 2017 we attended a wedding fayre at Moor Hall Hotel and I cried because I knew it was where we had to get married. The charter suite, the rooms, the grounds, the whole atmosphere was just perfect. We finally had our wedding day in September 2019 and we cannot put in to words how grateful we are for all of the staff at the hotel, they couldn't do enough for us, not only on the day but also during the build up to the day. If anything did go wrong on the day we did not find out about it, it was a relief that the staff were all so on the ball! We absolutely loved our day and wished we could do it all over again, we really wouldn't have changed a thing. Our family arranged an ice cream van as a suprise for us and the hotel also helped accommodate this and keep it secret from us! Thank you to all at Moor Hall for putting up with us. We had the absolute best day of our lives and the Moor Hall Team could not have done any more for us! Everyone commented on how friendly and lovely the team were on the day but all the work put in before hand with Jo put us both at ease as nothing was too much trouble! The hotel itself and gardens were just unbelievable and we were very lucky to have such a fantastic venue for our big dayWe had the absolute best day of our lives and the Moor Hall Team could not have done any more for us! We had the most magical day of our lives and we have memories to last a life time. When I say it was our dream fairytale wedding day I really really mean it. Thank You for everything that you did and also to Jo towards the end you made sure everything about our day was just perfect! Everything was so well organised, the food was outstanding, the staff were brilliant who were looking after us we just couldn't fault a single thing! We had the most magical day of our lives and we have memories to last a life time. When I say it was our dream fairytale wedding day I really really mean it. Absolutely perfect Absolutely perfect
Couldn't have asked for anything more. The staff were all so accommodating, the room was beautifully decorated exactly the way we wanted it, we had our photos in the secret garden and in the beautiful rooms. The food was amazing and the setting in the ground so of moor hall is just beautiful. They even left us a personalised photo frame in our room as a wedding gift. Worth every penny. Couldn't have asked for anything more. The staff were all so accommodating, the room was beautifully decorated exactly the way we wanted it, we had our photos in the secret garden and in the beautiful rooms. The food was amazing and the setting in the ground so of moor hall is just beautiful. They even left us a personalised photo frame in our room as a wedding gift. Worth every penny.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

The Sunken Garden at Moor Hall is a woodland, fairy tale setting. The path to the Sunken Garden is lined with verbena and standard roses throughout the summer; and at the entrance stands a magnolia tree, which in springtime is in full bloom. Seasonal shrubbery borders and walls, built using stones from old local buildings, surround the Sunken Garden, along with woodlands with yew and hazel trees, making it a striking setting.

Our NEW Wedding Getting Ready Room! This new elegant and unique space is perfectly suited to serve as a base as you prepare for your big day. The suite sleeps up to 4 guests with the large four poster bed and soft bed - plus there is an adjoining bedroom that sleeps and an additional 2 guests - perfect for the night before your big day! There is lots of space to relax and get ready with plenty of seating, hanging space and mirror space for everyone.
