I was a sucker for a fairy tale when I was a child (granted, perhaps more the original Hans Christian Anderson and Brothers Grimm type, but still) and I’m blaming that for both my continuing love of books and my love of weddings. After all, what can better epitomise ‘and they lived happily ever after’ than a wedding day? Today’s wedding has more than a touch of the fairytale to it – part of it is the beautiful gown, part the incredible chapel where the ceremony took place and part the romantic, story-book feel of the photographs, by The Gibsons.
Aleisha and Richard married on the 26 August 2017 at the stunning Mount Stuart on the Isle of Bute, Scotland. Chosen for its beautiful marble chapel and reception room, it offered their guests and Aleisha’s Scottish roots the venue which brought together all the elements for a fantastic wedding day.
