The Netley Estate is a luxury holiday and wedding venue in the heart of rural Shropshire. On December 6th 1855 Mr John Treasure was commissioned to erect a mansion at Netley. He created a magnificent home with outstanding landscape grounds, consisting of our illustrious wedding gardens and naturally elegant fresh water lakes. The Estate grounds cover an extensive 160 acres of blissful Shropshire countryside, boasting romantic views of enchanting woodland and rolling velvet hills. New in 2020, 13 magnificent bedrooms will be available within Netley Hall itself including the Burway Suite which boasts a private swimming pool and jacuzzi. These additional rooms complement the existing 12 luxury cottages situated on the grounds of Netley.

Beautiful day 😍Beautiful day 😍
Obviously the day I married my husband was going to be amazing, and this venue is a beautiful setting to have a wedding. Overall the day went well although I do have a the odd issue. The host in general was helpful but I did feel rushed and as though my vision wasn’t necessarily the most important thing. The food was lovely, every course was delicious and went well down with guests. The service from the waiters was good. Drinks prices were very high depsite being told they were pub prices. Other gripes where that we married on a 28 degree day in July and people physically could not stay inside the barn/reception as there was no cool air at all. The “in house Dj” didn’t play too many of our choices which was irritating as we have a list of over 100 a month before the wedding. The cottages are wonderfully spacious which is where we stayed and got ready. However you pay extra for internet and there is no service out there. Breakfast is also extra. Beds are very firm. I think the venue is an absolutely gorgeous place to get married and think if we’d have got married on a cooler day or they had air con it would have been even more perfect. Got married here July 2019, was a last minute booking after our original venue cancelled due to asbestos found in renovation works. Turns out this was a happy accident. The venue is beautiful as are the gardens, the food was very tasty and well presented. Nothing was too much trouble for the chef. The father and son team that own and run Netley Hall; Harrison and his dad (sorry dad I can't remember your name) are great lads, plenty of time for customers and go the extra mile to make sure you're well cared for. We had a great day here with our family and friends and wish the Netley team every success. Well worth a look, you won't regret it. Attended a wedding here and it was bloody flawless. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, I thought id try my luck asking for extra bread for the table and within a few minutes the waitress gave the whole table another piece each. The venue is beautiful but the highlight was the food. I think with wedding food the question is would you be happy if you went to an expensive restaurant and received that food, the answer was most definitely yes! 5 star!Attended a wedding here and it was bloody flawless. Me and my (now) husband had an absolute wonderful time getting married at netley hall, the food was perfect and there was no waiting around. The staff were so helpful and friendly and willing to do anything to aid your needs. The process from start to finish was immaculate and the day ran perfect and true to times, my elderly nan and aunt who came to celebrate my wedding had walkers and were seen struggling across the pebbles to the garden area and before we know it a golf buggy has pulled up and taken them to the destination and then back to the function suite afterwards, my family and friends stayed in the cottages and heard nothing but good reviews from them too.
