Old Downton Lodge is set in the middle of the Shropshire and Herefordshire hills surrounded by beautiful unspoilt countryside. The Lodge is a lovingly renovated 11th Century Farm based around a beautiful courtyard. Our 10 Rooms are set in the Farm buildings off the courtyard gardens. They vary from contemporary modern style to traditional oak four poster rooms. We offer a home away from home in which you can escape the hustle and bustle of day to day life and feel truly relaxed. Everything is taken care of in an unobtrusive and friendly manner and we will cater to your every need. At Old Downton Lodge we cater to smaller and more personal weddings with our maximum guests being capped at 60 people.

The day was absolutely perfect, and it was so lovely to come back to the venue to stay in the wedding suite at the end of the night. Everyone was so kind and helpful.
