Welcome to Orange Tree House where we specialise in making your wedding day one to truly remember. We fell in love with Orange Tree House, situated in the pretty historical village of Greyabbey on the shores of Strangford Lough, over 8 years ago. Since then we have restored the beautiful 1820's stone barn style church and transformed it into a unique conference and wedding venue. When we opened in October 2014, for the first time in over 110 years, a bride and groom celebrated their wedding here. We believe in "Your day, your way". Whether you opt for a traditional, elegant wedding or take a more alternative approach, we will endeavor to accommodate your plans. Orange Tree House is a totally private venue but, unlike most other private venues, we also provide all of your catering, bar, furniture, tableware etc. so all you need to do is choose your date, menu and drinks then relax and enjoy your day. As well as having the beautiful stone barn style banqueting room with its exposed beams at your disposal, you and your guests can enjoy the Orangerie with its open fire. You can sip a cocktail or two in our stunning new guest lounge which overlooks Strangford Lough (a designated area of outstanding natural beauty)and onwards towards Whiterock Bay, with the Dromara Hills and the Mourne Mountains as a backdrop. Here you can also relax and enjoy the amazing sunsets, whatever the weather. The function room can comfortably accommodate up to 132 guests for ceremonies and dinner with room for extra evening guests up to a total of around 160. We have over 100 bed spaces within a 5 minute radius, many within walking distance and are located half an hour from Belfast. We would be delighted to show you around and discuss your plans. Had our wedding reception during Easter 2017 at the Orangetree. Stunning location, outstanding service, beautiful and intimate venuevwith the most delicious food we’ve tasted. We had our special day here in September and was absolutely amazing the staff helped with every detail which allowed the wedding to be relaxed! Simply the best.Simply the best.
We were lucky to be there in the early days for this venue and they have gone from streanght to streangth. A perfect setting and it all yours for your wedding. No other parties to compete with and full attention from a professional family business. The Best Wedding Venue EVER!The Best Wedding Venue EVER!
Although not married here we do a lot of weddings here as we provide transport. Always pleased to see us, go out of their way to get us refreshments, invite us to open days, make us feel part of the team and the “craic” is always mighty! We always look forward to going here.....in fact the chauffeurs fight over it! Lol!!Although not married here we do a lot of weddings here as we provide transport. Orange Tree House was the location we couldn't pass on when it came to choosing a venue. It was perfect. The setting, staff and service were all outstanding. The venue provides stunning views, food and a great atmosphere. The attentiveness and willingness of the staff cannot be complimented enough - they make you feel right at home and brings a relaxed atmosphere to your day. My daughter was married at Orange Tree House in October. It is the most beautiful venue with a patio area overlooking Strangford Lough - with the sun shining we enjoyed lemonade and traybakes served from the Retro Rocket, a cute little coffee trailer, which allowed guests to enjoy the amazing views. The interior of the building was warm and welcoming, as were the staff. We had an amazing meal - served on time and the slow roasted beef was simply the best I have ever tasted, and many of our guests commented on the same. We simply felt at home at Orange Tree House - for us, the fact that we had the whole place to ourselves made it very special. A magicla day! A magicla day!
Just the best day of our lives! Such a unique wedding with many personal touches but Orange tree house just made our day incredible! Staff awesome, food so tastey but the setting was what enabled us to cherish many beautiful photos! Famy and friends still comment on Saturday 17 october 2015 and what an amazing day it was!
