Nestled in the rolling hills of Somerset, Pennard House is a beautiful, family owned Georgian manor house, surrounded by walled gardens, wildflower meadows and cider orchards. With everything within walking distance, your bespoke wedding takes place in one charming location, with complete exclusivity, whether it’s for one day or an entire weekend! Why not come the night before and enjoy supper with your loved ones, cooked by our in-house chef, and relax knowing everything’s ready for your special day. Wake up and get ready in our bridal suite and then tie the knot under blue skies in our stunning outside pavilion or inside in our beautiful Napier room. Alternatively, the picturesque 14th century village church is just a few steps beyond our garden. After your ceremony, enjoy a glass of champagne and canapés on the south facing lawn with plenty of space for photographs and even lawn games - Croquet anyone? Your celebrations would then move to our stunning 18th century Coach House. Host your wedding breakfast amongst wooden beams and fairy lights then dance the night away with friends and family in our unique party space with custom made dance floor, bespoke bar and candlelit cosy seating booths. When it’s time to say goodnight, you have complimentary use of our beautiful Orchard suite and your loved ones can also stay nearby in our beautiful bedrooms or under the stars in our 16ft luxury tipis in the garden. The most incredible weekend! The most incredible weekend!
Thank you for hosting the most incredible weekend. Myself, Mr H and our families had the time of our lives. We felt so relaxed and at home we didn’t want to leave! It’s such a special house. All our friends and family have said what a great, relaxed and personal wedding it was and that was really down to the amazing venue and you and your fantastic team... You all made the experience so easy and special, all of your hard work behind the scenes didn’t go unnoticed- we really appreciate everything you did to make it the most perfect weekend. We honestly can’t thank you enough. We’ve spent everyday since reminiscing about our time at Pennard house- it’s a weekend we will never forget. Thank you for hosting the most incredible weekend. Completely PerfectCompletely Perfect
We simply cannot thank you enough for everything you did for us this weekend!! It was completely perfect from start to finish and we are still on a high! All of your thoughtful little touches were so appreciated, from bringing us up a tray of Buck’s Fizz, and letting my grandma in the house to see me before the ceremony, to the surprise croquet set appearing on the lawn - which we loved! You and Ellie and everyone else who looked after us were so wonderful and kind and accommodating. The best part was that you simply felt like friends who were there for our wedding too! You worked so hard but clearly love your jobs too. All of our friends and family commented on what an incredible venue Pennard House was and how well everything was run. We honestly didn’t need to worry or even really think about a thing all day. Thank you again for everything. It’s been a dream! We’d absolutely love to come back again one day - and maybe we’ll cross paths at Glastonbury 2020! We simply cannot thank you enough for everything you did for us this weekend!! Perfect day!Perfect day!
We had numerous complements both during and after the wedding about how beautiful the coach house and grounds were and how convenient it was being able to walk from the church to the reception on the terrace. We still can’t believe that we managed to pick one of the few sunny days in August. You all went above and beyond to ensure that Dave and I had a simply perfect day and we really cannot thank you enough. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Pennard House to any couple looking for the perfect wedding venue and would do it all again in a heart beat if we could. As a team, you were all just so warm, friendly and epic and we are just so lucky to have chosen Pennard House as our wedding venue!
