The Priory Syningthwaite is surrounded by the dramatic scenery of North Yorkshire with just the right blend of romance and enchantment for an idyllic wedding. We specialise in small and intimate weddings which are held in the Barn area (up to 60 people) or for larger wedding (up to 140 people) in a marquee. Either way your celebrations take over the whole place. We are a family run business and pride ourselves on providing a friendly and personal service. We have a wide range of options to suit every taste and budget and we will always endeavour to tailor a package to suit you rather than you to suit a package. Exclusive use weddings allow you to quite literally take over the Barn and Cottages and make it your own for your wedding celebrations. Enjoy your wedding day and the two nights in our luxurious and cosy cottages - we will ensure your wedding is memorable and unique for all the right reasons. The Priory Barn and Priory Cottages all yours for 43 hours not just the usual 24....tailor your wedding exactly how you want it. With 17 bedrooms in 7 cottages we offer accommodation for up to 29 guests although for the wedding breakfast we can accommodate numbers up to 140. Hire the whole venue and accommodation from 3pm the day before, which allows you and your friends to get settled in. It’s your day – we’ll help you to make it fabulously special - whatever your dream wedding entails we have the experience and knowledge to make it happen. There are some ideas of menus, dj’s, florists, photographers provided but the thing is it really is up to you!
