The Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh is a completely unique and very special setting for your wedding day. From April to September we can hold outdoor ceremonies in our wedding grove under the towering Californian Redwood trees. We have several event spaces in the Gardens suitable for your wedding from the Victorian built Caledonian Hall with views over the rock garden and waterfall to the modern John Hope Gateway. We can offer bespoke proposals taking inspiration from you to create your ideal day.

Outstanding venue and one extatic couple 🤗Outstanding venue and one extatic couple 🤗
Me and my husband took a walk in the gardens before we decided on any venue. We wanted to have a humanist to marry us too. The setting, the layout as always was fabulous and we wanted to have our Wedding in Summer. The staff at the venue were amazing and so professional and accommodating to all our needs we decided to get married in the Botanical Gardens and outdoors. The staff couldn't possibly be any more helpful and our wedding organizer communicated with us with everything and anything by phone or email. We opted for an outside main ceremony surrounded by beautiful Californian Redwood trees and blossoming flowers all over the gardens. The wedding meal and party was arranged for the Caledonian Hall. My husband and I couldn't be looked after more and with so much attention and smiles. There was a security on site to watch over our wedding guests and everyone was very impressed with how amazing the whole day was for us. Certainly a day to remember for everyone and we got married in the most beautiful place. I would highly recommend it to anyone who are looking for an outdoor wedding (alternative set up for a rainy day was arranged in advance) and we also have absolutely stunning wedding photos too.
