"Hi, my name is Samantha and I am the wedding planner here at Sketchley Grange Hotel & Spa. Having been here for almost a year I have enjoyed every minute of helping 100+ couples plan their big day. For my sins, I have had 10 years in the wedding industry and admittedly a lot has changed in this time. Wedding trends change annually and the next big thing is just around the corner but I can't stress enough to couples amongst all of the wedding frill there is one thing I always say - A day without laughter is a day wasted. With this in mind, I would think about your guest list and who you really want there... who will hold your dress in times of need? Who will hand you a handkerchief when you cry? And who will dance the night away with you when you've had a few glasses of fizz? Our perfect day Our perfect day
From start to finish the venue was amazing nothing was ever to much. Even from the very first meeting they went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we wanted food/drink/Décor wise included in our package within our budget. They were always happy to answer any questions and on hand to offer guidance or support. Our day was simply amazing again nothing was to much I had my heart set on a outdoor wedding but all morning the weather kept changing and I kept asking them to re arrange and move it all and they did not mind at all. It all ran very smoothly all the staff were so friendly and we honestly had the most fantastic day. Thank you Sketchley. From start to finish the venue was amazing nothing was ever to much. Best venue everBest venue ever
Well from the very first time we went to view this venue we knew it waa perfect , it felt as if it had all the wedding aspects along with a modern touch , everyone that came (and those who have only seen pictures) commented in how well the staff were during the day let a lone the setting and the gardrns are amazing definitely a hidden gem and could not recommend this venue more not only for a wedding but as a hotel and a spa Well from the very first time we went to view this venue we knew it waa perfect , it felt as if it had all the wedding aspects along with a modern touch , everyone that came (and those who have only seen pictures) commented in how well the staff were during the day let a lone the setting and the gardrns are amazing definitely a hidden gem and could not recommend this venue more not only for a wedding but as a hotel and a spa

Sketchley Grange was our perfect venue for our perfect day. They were flexible in working within the requirements for a Jewish and same-sex wedding and all the team did everything possible to make our dream day come true. The beautiful grounds and leisure facilities meant that we were able to have our family stay and enjoy the whole wedding weekend with us. Truly a dream venue. Sammy was dedicated, hard working and made everything possible. It really felt like she cared about what she was doing and gave us support and valuable feedback to our ideas. Initially we were slightly worried about changing wedding coordinator part way through the process, but the handover was managed excellently and Sammy was well informed about our specific wedding requirements. She is an absolute asset to your organisation and we cannot praise her highly enough. We couldn't possibly have thought of a better venue, with a more dedicated team for our wedding. Compliments to the hotel and staff for contributing to the most amazing occasion. Of note the friendly professionalism of Sam wedding co-ordinator, Richard lead of ceremonies – perfect balance of organising as requested by brides, great Hotel DJ cream entertainment and the setting and rooms so tastefully presented and clean. The food was substantial and tasty. I could continue the list of praise attributes… Only recommendation – in serving canapes keep vegetarian separate from non-vegetarian items. Great Value for MoneyGreat Value for Money
All the staff from the very beginning from the start of our planning to the wedding day everything went without any problems the food was fantastic and the hotel room was perfect We had the perfect day and it's with all the help from the staff. We have had so many compliments from the food to the room and how professional the staff were. Great Value for Money It was run so well with no stress for us as a couple the MC was fantastic, making sure we were fine and we were happy with what was happening and came to us with every step that was going to happen and what we would like to happen on the day all the staff were fantastic. All the staff from the very beginning from the start of our planning to the wedding day everything went without any problems the food was fantastic and the hotel room was perfect We had the perfect day and it's with all the help from the staff. From day one to our wedding day nothing was too much for the Wedding Planner, Sam. Everything was perfect for our perfect day at the Sketchley Grange x Our wedding planner Sam was amazing and anything we asked or requested was done. The whole weekend experience from the time time the bridal party arrived on the Saturday night to when we left on the Monday. Everything was perfect and we couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day. Thank youFrom day one to our wedding day nothing was too much for the Wedding Planner, Sam. Special Day Special Day
We got married on Sunday 25th August and were very lucky to have two of your employees to help us from start to finish. Our first visit was with Samantha Preston and Richard Gary both put us at ease going through all the arrangements needed before the day and what would happen on the day. Samantha was always on the other end of the phone if I needed her and when we had to change a few things nothing was any trouble and Samantha dealt with it with ease, making me relaxed leading up to our special day. When it came to our day, Richard Gary was just amazing, from start to finish. Coming to our room with refreshments pouring us a glass and making sure everyone had one. Keeping me informed about what was happening downstairs and what I needed to do and when. Organizing the wedding party before and after the ceremony and making sure everything ran smoothly. Richard Gary was always on hand going the extra mile even spraying my bouquet to make sure it kept on looking fresh throughout the day, as it was a really hot day. Richard never stop to make our special day run like clock work, and words can’t express how grateful we are for all his hard work. I hope you past our thanks on to Richard for the hard work on the day and Samantha for her help before our big day, both our stars. Mr & Mrs Prior - Fantastic Wedding Day. ( 17th September 2019 ) We would like to thank Sketchley Grange for making our Wedding Day such an amazing day. The Staff helped us though out the whole special day from support us when we needed an extra bedroom sorting out to ground floor with out any problems to racing round after us, treating us like royals which made us feel unique and special which added to the day. Richard who looked after us, made sure that everything ran smoothly. He guided us and aided his team to delivering us the most magical experience we could ever have asked for. Samantha who was our Wedding Planner arranged for us to have a meeting, so she could understand what we needed and the result was floorless, just amazing how beautiful the venue looked. The team behind reception that day 17th Sept 2019 - made sure all our guests felt comfortable and made sure we felt welcome. We has several people behind reception running round after us and we could not have thanked you all for such warm welcoming you made us all feel. Epic response and great team you guys are. The Team behind the Kitchens all delivered fantastic tasty food - this was all so satisfying which everyone praised how lovely the food tasted, no one complained and this left everyone's mouth watering for more food. - Pretty sure people where taking extras away with them to eat in the bedrooms, it was very yummy, thank you guys. The Team setting up the dinning room to serving all the drinks, you guys where running around toping everyone up, feeling all light headed after so much wine, this made the night, the drinks where magnificent. The cleaning team made everything clean and dazzling, making everything smell and looks fresh, the bedrooms right down to the venue just made this place perfect for anyone's wedding. One of the guys - Michael whom was sorting out the bedrooms, he helped us with our suitcases, he didn't have too, but carrying them down on the day we left down to our car, we could not have thanked him enough, it took the delivery of the event and made it felt incredible. We had a fabulous wedding filled with lots of guests of whom were surprised by SINGING WAITERS and this was followed by a fabulous soul band of whom rocked the night away. A room filled with beautiful decorations & smells from a delicious BBQ it was a truly gorgeous wedding which featured their two true loves 'Alfie & Bruce' the Bulldogs.
