Congratulations & thank you for considering Stoke Place as the location of your special day! Stoke Place is the perfect venue for your special day. Built in 1690 by Patrick Lamb, our luxurious Queen Anne Mansion House effortlessly blends original period features with handpicked, modern flourishes. Set within 26 acres of secluded parkland and a garden landscaped by Capability Brown, Stoke Place is a wonderful setting for your special day. We can accommodate civil ceremonies and wedding breakfasts for up to 200 guests in our Ballroom - with its own private entrance, bar and facilities. For smaller, more intimate weddings we have The Thomas Gray boasting spectacular views of our wonderful garden & lake. At Stoke Place we pride ourselves on the exceptional service we provide to each of our weddings. Whether it be lavish or intimate, formal or relaxed you can be at ease knowing that our talented team will guarantee you have an unforgettable day. Above and beyond Above and beyond
A couple of days after we got engaged we had booked our wedding venue at Stoke place. It was the perfect venue for our wedding as it provided us with a blank canvas. It also was also in our price budget. Stoke place is a beautiful house, which has a beautiful ballroom and lakeside bar which you can dress to your specific wants. I did not want a huge wedding but somehow managed to have 100 guests for our wedding breakfast and around 140 in the evening. Stoke place was perfect size. The staff were also amazing, I can not fault them atall. They we’re able to answer to all our needs. Before our wedding we visited the venue 4 times - menu tasting and planning. Every visit I loved. Stoke place has an extremely special place in my heart and I recommend the venue to all. It’s phenomal. The inside of the house is equally as beautiful as the exterior. A truly magical dayA truly magical day
I want to take this opportunity to thank you for being a part of our wedding and making it a truly magical day. You and your team couldn't have been more helpfully and I can't praise them enough. The pass over the day before was extremely smooth and put me at ease and couldn't be happier with how easy you made it. Patrick was fantastic on the day and extremely helpful throughout and made us feel like royalty being there for our every need. Petr and Rene were also fantastic and helpful. We have had lots of complements from our families on how grateful they were for there help on the day. Our dreams come trueOur dreams come true
Every single person we met at Stoke Place was friendly and helpful but we wanted to say a particular thank you to:- • Patrick the toastmaster - we would not have believed that a wedding could run as smoothly as ours did and that was totally down to Patrick's expert handling and supervision! • Rene was absolutely fabulous both the day before and on the day itself - he was on hand to answer any questions and assist in any way that he could! • Petr - Again, what an asset to Stoke Place! Having helped calm our nerves the day before, it was lovely seeing a familiar face during the day itself and his slick handling of the wedding breakfast was impressive • The kitchen staff - we also separately wanted to thank the brilliant chefs. Everyone is still talking to us about how amazing the food was and we are still drooling ourselves over that caponata! It was quite frankly one of the best bits of our day. • Last and ABSOLUTELY NOT LEAST, Tracey! We don't even know where to begin and could probably write an entire dissertation on how wonderful Tracey is but honestly - you are just a superstar and we cannot thank you enough for making the process and the day itself as smooth and magical and wonderful as it was. The entire staff at Stoke Place deserve a huge round of applause. Choosing Stoke Place to host our wedding day ended up being an easy choice for us. Tracey, you have been a little shining star throughout the whole process. Nothing was ever too much to ask, you comforted us during times of uncertainty, offered invaluable advice based on experience and we felt in the safest hands possible. The both of us didn’t share the same feeling about other potential co-ordinators we had met. Meeting Patrick and Rene was a delight in the final handover meeting the evening before the big day. Despite some clear nerves we were given complete confidence that no stone had been left unturned and the day was going to go without a hitch (apart from the obvious hitch! No pun intended)! Patrick’s general demeanour, clear experience and passion for what he does was refreshing and so comforting. Especially at intervals during the day where a little arm round the shoulder was required as one part of the day ended and the next begun. Rene was fantastic throughout the day and evening ensuring our glasses were topped up, which settled the nerves before the speeches. Not to forget Petr who was not only as friendly as the rest of the team but equally made us feel at ease during the setup and assisted greatly in how the rooms were setup, to our complete satisfaction. Vicki and I will have no hesitation in recommending Stoke Place for a wedding or any other function for that matter. You and the team made our day so special. A day we’ll never forget and would do all over again (without the stress of the planning!). We can’t thank you & team enough, we really cant. Hi Tracey Andrew and I would like to say a big thank you to you and the team at Stoke Place for giving us the perfect wedding. It really couldn't have gone any better. From the start you have been so helpful, always prompt with answering our queries and making us feel safe. Your team let us make our wedding as individual as possible and catered to our every need. From the first meeting to the menu tasting to the final big day, everything was great. You were able to tailor the venue, the menu - pretty much everything to exactly the way we wanted it. On the day, the ops team were superb. Peta had his eye on everything - and I mean everything - we were so impressed. Patrick ensured the day ran smoothly and made sure all the guests were happy. To top it off, the weather was miraculously perfect. The next day we felt so looked after. The group breakfast was great and I also received help with the packing up. It was all in all, a seamless, perfect operation. Thank you so much. We couldn't recommend Stoke Place enough. We will be back soon no doubt for Sunday lunch! Hi Tracey, The day was truly was beyond all our expectations. It wasn't just attention to detail that we saw, the impression given was that everyone involved truly cared. Rene outdid himself again; we had the feeling it wasn't him going above and beyond, but that it was also his day and it really mattered to him that everything went perfectly, as it did. It's one of those things; the biggest party you'll ever throw to celebrate the most important moment of your life, for the people most important to you, and you have to get it completely right first time.. that's what's so daunting about it all, but that's where the help and support of all you guys really helped make sure everything came together in the way we wanted, even beyond what we'd expressed in words. We owe you all and endless debt of gratitude, and can't wait to be back to "our" stoke place again in the future Thank you again, and please let us know where and when and how we can spread glowing reviews of yourself and stoke place as a whole. Wow…where do we start! From the first time we visited Stoke Place, we fell in love and knew it was here where we wanted to experience the Wedding of our dreams and Stoke Place definitely did not disappoint. The beautiful building and grounds are breath taking and amazing for our photographs. And the fact they let you have fireworks in the evening was a big must for us, as this was something we 100% wanted. Tracey has been brilliant all the way through the planning of our Wedding Day, she has always been there and nothing has been too much to ask. On the day Petr and Rene were amazing and made sure everyone and everything was catered for, so that the day ran as smoothly as it could. Rene especially went out of his way to make sure both of us were ok, he is fab! Patrick our Toast Master was great and helped us throughout.
