Strawberry Hill House is available for exclusive hire for you and your guests with the undivided attention of our experienced team. We don’t believe in a “one size fits all” approach to weddings, each and every element is designed specifically to suit you for a day that fulfils your personal requirements. For those looking to marry with us, we have a licence for civil ceremonies and partnerships for up to 100 guests in the grand Gallery, a spacious and naturally lit room with vaulted ceilings, golden canopies and crimson damask. The rest of the state apartments and expansive lawns offer ample opportunities to capture photographs and moments to remember. Following your ceremony, enjoy a drinks reception on the lawn or in the Great Parlour overlooking the gardens whilst we prepare the Gallery for your wedding breakfast. Continue to enjoy the House for drinks, dancing and merriment throughout the night. A tailored menu is prepared for each and every couple using the finest, fresh and local ingredients. Let us wow you with our seasonal menus and work with you to create your own, all cooked by our incredible Michelin trained head chef! Fabulous venue, super location perfectly placed, I'm so pleased I found this little gem of a venue. Our wedding day was perfect, the caterers were fantastic and the food was amazing. Strawberry Hill House was great to work with. Everything was easily organised with the staff, and the catering was seamless. Chloe did a fantastic job looking after it all, that I as a bride could completely relax. The venue is already so stunning that it really needs no decorating. Even though it is a large and impressive venue from the outside, the gallery for the ceremony is quite intimate. Our guests thought it was a lovely ceremony and venue, and I would happily recommend it to any future couples.Strawberry Hill House was great to work with. We booked a team event at Strawberry and decided on a medieval theme. Strawberry Hill House is stunning and served us well for our team building activity. Having access to the whole of the house was amazing. The service, the food was first class. We will definitely consider Strawberry Hill again. Rachel and I cannot thank you enough for all your help which went a long way to making it the success it was. Your attention to all details from arrival to departure was excellent, and the fact that you opened up all the rooms for our guests to enjoy the history of the House made the event even more enjoyable. There was not one person that did not say how they thoroughly enjoyed my celebration. The canapes and drinks at the reception on arrival of the guests were wonderful. The setting for the luncheon was beautiful, and though we may have chosen the menu for the day, the congratulations I received should be directed to you for the excellence in their preparation and serving. The whole atmosphere was enchanting and we are certain added to the appreciation of all our guests. Your staff were very attentive and we would ask you to let them know that their service was much appreciated. Those not seen, in the kitchen, are not to be forgotten and are congratulated on their efforts to make everything so perfect. There was a mixture of friends and families but our apprehension leading up to the event was unnecessary, as they all fitted in so well, we immediately felt at ease and could ourselves enjoy the event to the full. We just wanted to send a HUGE thank you for arranging such a magical and fairytale-like wedding for us!!! We really really appreciate all your hard work and the team's hard work in the planning (for months), organising and execution which was absolutely perfect! Chloe, Rasa, you are both an absolute delight to work with and have been so responsive, approachable and accommodating throughout and have made everything look so easy (even though I know it's not!!!!) It has been such a pleasure and absolute joy to work with you both and your high standards of professionalism and impeccable attention have been truly outstanding! A huge thank you also to the absolutely delightful team on the day as well, they were charming and gracious and very accommodating, thank you! We wanted to also thank the chefs as the food was absolutely exquisite and everyone enjoyed the wedding breakfast and wine/drinks. The evening canapes and drinks were loved by all the guests, including my picky relatives so really really well done!!! Strawberry Hill House is a beautiful setting for a wedding, the guests were in awe of the rooms and size of the venue, it is beautifully decorated and phenomenal to photograph. The food which was provided by Bovingdons was exceptional and many guests said it was by far the best wedding food they had tasted and was exactly the same as the tasting. Our wedding manager on the day Chloe was very professional and helped us deal with the more challenging guests which took a lot of pressure off of us. She was eager to please and make sure everything was alright, she was very pleasant to guests and visible throughout the day if we needed her for anything. The waiters were very professional and attentive with refilling the wine and addressing food requirements. There is plenty of opportunity to discuss any requirements with Bovingdons and they try to accommodate your every wish.
