Welcome to the historic Surrey County Hall. County Hall offers a timeless backdrop for your wedding; from its iconic clock tower, which has stood in Kingston since 1893, to its beautiful inner courtyard, the perfect tranquil space for photographs that will stand the test of time. Rooms include our impressive Victorian Grand Hall, with its sweeping stone staircase overlooked by a magnificent stained glass window. Then there is the more intimate Old Crown Court and our prestigious working Council Chamber, quirkier offerings for couples after something a little different. Whether you are looking for the perfect ceremony venue or a space to host the entire occasion, our events coordinators and wedding planners are happy to help. With great attention to detail, we will make sure that you both get the day of your dreams.

It's always a pleasure to photograph a wedding at Surrey County Hall. The staff are extremely kind and friendly and the weddings are run extremely well. I would highly recommend! We exhibited earlier this year at Surrey County Hall via another agency - this was our first wedding fair. Understandably we were slightly overwhelmed with the setting up, logistically and otherwise . Although the fair was booked via an independent agency Bernice and Sam of Surrey County Hall were on hand from the very beginning until the very end to ensure that our experience was successful and pleasant. They went to great lengths to interact with all the stall holders and helped us pack away and load our furniture into the van at end of the event . Their customer service skills and willingness to accommodate everyone was outstanding and they are an asset and credit to the venue .We exhibited earlier this year at Surrey County Hall via another agency - this was our first wedding fair. My husband and I got married at the Surrey County Hall, and we could have not chosen a better place for us. Bernice and her team made every detail perfect and were extremely professional from the very beginning until the very end of the whole event. My wife and I had the most amazing wedding at this venue. We found out about this amazing venue at a wedding event, held at the county hall. Both Bernice and Sam were amazing with helping us organise our special day from start to finish. They gave us some great recommendations of vendors to use who have also received or been nominated for Bridal awards. Our guests have said our wedding was “the wedding of the year”. Of course we would be biased. At this venue you can get exclusivity if another wedding isn’t not happening in the same day as yours, which many vendors cannot offer. It is a cheaper venue than most we looked at in London. You can have your music or live band play beyond 11:30pm so your party doesn’t have to stop at that time like most weddings we have been to. Also, we had our wedding in the beautiful town of Kingston that we live in. The Surrey county hall is full of history, beautiful architecture which of course makes a wonderful backdrop for a wedding. The acoustics for music in the courtyard is amazing. We had a steelband, bag pipers and a gospel choir. We also had the Guildford hogs back Harley Chapter visit this venue - I am not too sure what other venue in London could offer you that! We had an amazing time in the Grand Room. The ceremony was excellent and Bernice and the team made it look phenomenal! We found Bernice to be great to work with and her experience an asset, delivered with humour! There are some excellent photos to be had so make sure you take them (including one of the courtyard from above). We had an amazing time in the Grand Room. Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

The Stair cases are gorgeous for photos of just the couple or with their guests. Both of them have amazing stained glass windows, for their backdrop creating a uniquly County Hall photo.

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?

We have not had any celebrity guests, at our weddings however our venue is used regularly in fliming. For programmes such as Downton Abby, Call the midwife or one of our personal favourites Hugh Grant was here filming A Very English Scandal.

Salmon Belini or mini yorkshire pudding with beef and mustard
