Our stunning Grade 2 listed Darby House can be hired out exclusively to you and your wedding guests and also includes a Bridal Preparation Suite and Bridal Suite offering fantastic views over-looking our Darby Lawn and Golf-Course. Round your wedding off nicely with your friends and family the morning after the best day of your lives with a full English breakfast with stunning panoramic views in our Restaurant 1779. With an award winning spa and golf course on-site there's no reason why you you can't extend the celebrations with your friends and family. All residents receive complimentary use of our swimming pool, sauna and steam room.

Had my wedding at the hotel yesterday. It was such an amazing day/night could not fault it at all. All staff were polite and friendly. I must congratulate James, the events organiser. We got married on the 9th November 2019, and I can truly say I can’t thank Telford Hotel & Golf Resort enough and their lovely friendly staff for making mine and my new husbands wedding day go so well. The wedding planner, Hayley, did such a fantastic job on making everything perfect, dealing with my endless emails and little details, it was utterly perfect. On the day, James, the Master of Ceremonies was great, so laid back and relaxed, just what we needed to stay calm on the day. He made everything go smoothly and we had the most perfect day. We couldn’t have asked for better on our special day, all the staff were friendly, the rooms were clean food was fantastic and I will definitely be recommending to others. Thank you all so much. The most perfect dayThe most perfect day
Our daughter and son in law got married here yesterday, what can we say apart from a huge thank you for giving them the most perfect amazing day, nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff, James and his team totally rock! Hayley the coordinator took amazing care of both Tash and Kieran from the very first meeting and we cant thank or praise any of them enough, we would highly recommend holding any event there, myself and Tasha's Dad are so very grateful for how hard you all worked, you did our babies proudOur daughter and son in law got married here yesterday, what can we say apart from a huge thank you for giving them the most perfect amazing day, nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff, James and his team totally rock! We had our wedding here last weekend and we wasn’t disappointed. The whole experience from start to finish was amazing. The food was lovely and lots of it, service excellent and nothing was too much trouble. We had lots of positive comments from family and friends about the day and we didn’t want it to end. Bridget and Hayley in events were brilliant in the run up to our wedding and on the day James and Jordan really looked after us. Thank you. I think one of our all time favorite weddings was when the Coalport Suite was completely draped from top to bottom with drapes and fairy lights. The room looked truly magical!

This is a hard one! Either over-looking the gorgeous Ironbridge Gorge, or the Darby Lawn looking towards the iconic 17th Century Darby House! both locations are stunning for those important Wedding photographs.

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?

Recently we had Helena Bohen-Carter, Henry Cavill and Milly Bobby Brown stay at our hotel whilst they were filming at a nearby location!

What is your venue's most unique feature?

It has to be our views! They never fail to impress me, every single day.

What part of your business are you most proud of?

I am proud of absolutely everything that we have to offer here at the Telford Hotel & Golf Resort. As a Golf and Spa Resort It means that Bride & Grooms can take full advantage of everything that we have on-site and extend the celebrations with family and friends with a bit of fun and relaxation.
