The Great Barn is a privately owned idyllic 18th century wedding venue set in 250 acres of beautifully tranquil landscaped grounds – the perfect location to have your wedding, reception or private function. The Great Barn is located on the Oxfordshire/ Northamptonshire border just 10 minutes from Junction 10 of the M40 between Bicester and Banbury.
The venue comprises two beautifully restored interconnecting 18th century stone barns which were built in 1770 and converted in 1986 specifically for weddings, private parties and corporate functions.

No matter what time of year, there is always somewhere to get incredible photos and video - whether it be 'down at the lakes'; in the fields during the summer months or beside a roaring fire in winter. Coupled with this picturesque setting are the warm and friendly staff who we have enjoyed working with for many years. As barns go, we are unusually large and spacious and the two interconnecting barns allow one part of the party to dance the night away and the others still be able to hold a conversation without feeling that they are separate groups.

Our staff - guests time and time again comment on how attentive, polite, courteous and flexible they are and they go the extra mile to make your day really special.
