Description

The Keeper and the Dell is a wonderfully secluded, outdoor wedding venue in Norfolk. A beautiful collective of a traditional canvas marquee in a pretty woodland dell, an eighteenth century Gamekeeper's barn, camping gardens, firepit and a little wood cabin ~ making it the most perfectly romantic of places to host a unique Norfolk wedding. Take your Vows in any of our beautiful outdoor spaces, such as the Dell, the Birch Garden or on the Terrace, completing the service either in our Outdoor Ceremony Den or in the Barn. The Keeper and the Dell is nestled below the trees of a woodland estate, in private grounds where you can happily enjoy your celebration with your close friends & family, just the way you always dreamed. Bookings are made with exclusive use over a weekend, for up to 100 guests ~ giving you space and time to make the most of this delightful venue to create your own wedding in the style you love. Whether it be simply rustic, classic chic, bohemian hip or vintage homemade ~ the possibilities are delightfully endless. Surrounded by a medieval grove, The Keeper and the Dell offers the Bride & Groom and their guests a pretty, romantic venue with the wonderful chance to celebrate & sleep under the stars, all within a beautiful country setting. We help with all your planning, offer on the day coordinating, can introduce you to great local vendors, but we don't tie you to any particular suppliers and better still ~ there's no corkage!

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?

All of our weddings have been so special & individual in their own way, we really couldn't choose a best.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

K.I.S.S. ~ Keep It Simple, Stupid!

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

All the little DIY touches that Brides or their friends & family have made are very sweet. I also love when they bring old family photos, of parents & grandparents weddings etc, to pop around the Barn, to really make it feel like their own personal space for the weekend.

Describe your venue in 5 adjectives.

Eclectic, Rustic, Unique, Bohemian, Romantic

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

The whole venue is filled with the perfect spots for photos!

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?

yes, but we don't divulge

What’s your favourite canapé?

For those on a budget, bowls of popcorn work well around 'Prosecco & Photos' time, but if you can push the boat out a little further, it's also nice to keep to Norfolk Vendors who can supply local grown produce, particularly amazing local shellfish for all your canapes & nibbles.

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

We love it when the Street Food Trucks rock up, and one the most popular is the Crepe Van.

What is your venue's most unique feature?

It's an idyllic location, the Dell, the 18th century worker's barn, the pretty cabin & vintage caravan, the bohemian off beat touches ~ the list goes on! Also our individual care & expertise in helping couples create their Day.

What part of your business are you most proud of?

We have been in Conde Nast's Brides Magazine's Top 100 Venue Guide for four years in a row, but we are most proud of the personal feeling of truly connecting with our couples and understanding their needs & wishes.
