With over 2 decades of experience of looking after weddings at The Kingswood Hotel, we know the importance of building a warm but professional relationship with the bride & groom and their families. We are here to help you and advise you in order that you can all relax and enjoy the big day itself. All weddings are different, and we understand the need to be flexible towards your needs whilst paying close attention to every detail. From the initial arranged viewing to the wedding day itself every attempt is made to ensure that you will meet the same coordinator on each of your visits The Kingswood Hotel is set in 2 acres of established gardens and woodland and enjoys stunning panoramic sea views across the Firth of Forth to Edinburgh. Situated on the coast between Burntisland and Kinghorn with Kirkcaldy and Aberdour less than 5 miles and Glenrothes, Dunfermline, Lochgelly, Cowdenbeath and Rosyth all within half an hours drive, the hotel is the ideal setting and location for both Ceremony and Reception on your special day. Our Alexander Suite has a formal dining seating capacity of up to 100 and a total capacity of 200 for an evening reception allowing your guests plenty of space to enjoy your day. In the summer months they can even have the opportunity for a relaxing stroll in our sheltered secret garden. You may also choose to take over more of the hotel for that ‘exclusive’ feeling For more intimate occasions the Canmore Suite & Conservatory is an idyllic venue. If required Canapés may be served to your guests whilst the photographs are being taken. Various menu options are available or we would be pleased to quote if you have a specific menu choice in mind.

We had our wedding here yesterday and couldn’t of asked for a more perfect day. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Rankin was great throughout the wedding planning not sure how he put up with my 100’s of emails haha!! But we couldn’t of asked for a better wedding host. We had our wedding reception at the Kingswood back in February and the service by Rankin and his staff was exceptional. From the initial planning until the morning after our wedding, nothing was too much trouble and all our guests had a great time. The venue is lovely, lots of space for guests and separate from the rest of the hotel with lovely views across the forth. The bridal suite is tastefully done and has lovely finishing touches such as rose petals on the bed. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and are very thankful to Rankin and his staff for the smooth running of the day. Best wishes to all, Corin and David. Fantastic location and staff. We stayed here for two nights as our niece was getting married at the hotel, staff couldn't do enough for us and always very pleasant and polite. Nothing was too much trouble. Wedding and function rooms were perfect and the decorations were gorgeous. Well done and congratulations to all staff Food at the hotel was fabulous and tasty. 'Perfect from Start to Finish''Perfect from Start to Finish'
We recently had our wedding reception at the Kingswood Hotel after being married at Gretna Green. Intially when we booked our reception, Rankin the owner, met with us and discussed all our options. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He gave us some excellent advice on things we hadn't thought too much about. We arrived the day before our reception, where the room was already set up, it was beautiful, we were allowed to add or own finishing touches. Our reception and stay was just perfect from start to finish, the staff were polite and courteous, nothing was too much trouble for them. Many of our guests commented on the little touches provided by the hotel - one being the heart shaped pastry on the steak pie. The food was excellent we couldn't fault anything. The price was fantastic. All the food at the hotel is very tasty, extremely well presented and good value for money. We had a sea view room which was very clean and comfortable exactly as expected. Had our wedding here yesterday and it was just the perfect venue for the perfect day! Thank you to the staff at the kingswood for making sure our day ran smootly. The meal was really good and plenty of it and there was loads of food on the buffet.
