Guests may even drift out to our balconies overlooking the Loch. Gourmet cuisine, utilising all that is fresh and delicious from Scotland’s larder, is served by our 2 rosette Chef Brigade. We can host small, medium and large parties comfortably. A weddings feast, imaginatively blending modern and traditional tastes, can be created for 80-200 guests, but the banqueting suites can also convert into smaller areas for more intimate wedding celebrations.
There are many stunning choices for you to have your wedding ceremony: the jetty, the romantic, arch in front of Loch Lomond, or the elegance of the wedding venue room with Loch views. All are beautiful options to have an outdoor or indoor wedding, and there is no need to fear the rain as Lodge is setup well for a wet weather day. Every question I had up until the day was answered quickly and I never felt like I was bugging them. I went up to the venue a good few times to their wedding fayre and everyone knew who I was and was very welcoming!! On the day I was catered for and given such special treatment it was amazing. The only thing I would say is they lost my confetti so I never had any and I ordered chocolate strawberries and didn’t get them either! Other than that, it was amazing! Absolutely loved my venue, it was beautiful especially on the sunny day we had! Every question I had up until the day was answered quickly and I never felt like I was bugging them. But really the location, yourself, David and the rest of your team made the day perfect! Everyone was so friendly, attentive and calming, nothing was too much trouble and everything went so smoothly. We really cannot thank you all enough!! The food was delicious too so please thank your wonderful chefs for us. If we were to do it again, we wouldn't hesitate in choosing the Lodge on Loch Lomond to have our special day, it really was perfect! Our wedding coordinator, Sam dealt with every little detail and coped very well with two ‘overly laid back’ (perhaps just lazy) brides. Everything looked beautiful and every need was catered to. One of the staff even kept track of my medication that I kept leaving lying around. The service received was so personalised and we both felt very special on the day. Massive thank you to all of the team, especially Sam and Gareth (I think that was his name, I’d had a few pimms by the time he introduced himself �). Views were spectacular, sunrise magnificent, rooms superb, food was excellent and the staff well what can I say - nothing was too much trouble, all were there to help and answer queries as soon as any arose from wedding coordination to reception. A special thank you has to go to David (Batman Belt), if there is an award for above and beyond this young man deserves it. He arranged for a very strange food request for the littlest flower girl to be available during the speeches and saved a mini meltdown, tissues for a nosebleed and provided a bit of banter when the adult bridesmaids were flagging. Ask lots of questions and ensure things are clear and understandable! There is no such thing as a silly question when it comes to your perfect day!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
We had a Bride who's favourite animal was a sheep! Her Groom hired a lady to hand rear a sheep, they then surprised the Bride after the ceremony with the sheep and they had some lovely photos on the beach!
