We work with a number of preferred partners who are acclaimed for delivering breath-taking and unique floral designs, beautiful set ups that are dressed to perfection and music to suit your taste and our team are happy to offer recommendations. On June 2nd we had our wedding reception here, it was a great day and The Normandy went that extra mile for us and made sure everything went so smoothly and did not let us worry about a thing. The food was excellent and service was excellent and the DJ was awesome so if anyone is planning their big day I would say consider the Normandy, they did an outstanding job. Just want to say thank you for helping making our day perfect and taking care of all our guests.On June 2nd we had our wedding reception here, it was a great day and The Normandy went that extra mile for us and made sure everything went so smoothly and did not let us worry about a thing. On behalf of my wife and I, we would just like to say a massive thank you! We recently had our wedding here and Tony was brilliant. He was so helpful in the run up to the wedding, without him I don't know what we would have done. He was also great fun and our meetings with him were always enjoyable. Our day was perfectly run and that's all down to Tony, Robin, Megan and the rest of the staff. They made the day very enjoyable and stress free. The meals we had were fantastic, we have had a few people telling us how much they enjoyed dinner! If you are looking at venues for your wedding, definitely give The Normandy a look, you won't be disappointed.On behalf of my wife and I, we would just like to say a massive thank you! Amazing from start to finish...Amazing from start to finish...
Just had our wedding in the hotel and it was amazing from start to finish. We were so looked after by Tony, Robyn and Karen and all staff. The food was terrific as was Steven our DJ. Everyone had the most wonderful day and night and would recommend it to anyone - wish we could do it all again. Many thanks from the new Mr & Mrs O’Donnell.Just had our wedding in the hotel and it was amazing from start to finish. We were so looked after by Tony, Robyn and Karen and all staff. What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

First and foremost don't stress!! We are here to do everything and anything we can to make your day as easy and perfect as possible. Secondly, treat yourself! This is once in a lifetime experience and if you want those little added extras, go for it.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

At a few weddings recently couples have had a memories table. This helps to include those who are no longer with us to be there on the day and feel like they are part of it. Every wedding has their table personalised to suit them and the people they have lost. This is a fantastic idea and bring something a little special to such a memorable day.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

A firm favourite with guests is getting their wedding party together in out gardens. Their photographer can make use of the Bridal Room to open the window and look down on the party and get a snap of everyone there on the day!

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?

As part of the 2018 Royal Wedding celebrations Heart Radio were crashing weddings that were taking place throughout Scotland. Our lovely couple were extremely shocked when 2 presenters from the station arrived at the hotel to surprise guests! The couple were lucky enough to receive a bottle of Boe Violet Gin.

What is your venue's most unique feature?

We have over 700 free car parking spaces, free transfers to and from Glasgow Airport and one of the largest hotel banqueting suites in Glasgow!

What part of your business are you most proud of?

We have recently had our largest suite refurbished after 20 years! It looks completely different and is definitely a stand out point for the hotel.
