Description

We pride ourselves on the quality and warmth of the service we offer, and we personally work tirelessly with our staff to ensure your wedding is perfect in every way for you, your family and your guests. Set in an idyllic rural location, there are 2 barns on site; a purpose-built 110ft oak framed barn for indoor weddings and receptions and the original 'Old' barn for accommodation which was built over 225 years ago. The barns are set in manicured landscaped grounds and surrounded by picturesque Kent countryside making it the perfect backdrop.  The 2 ½ acre gardens, with formal parterres, are planted with romantic roses, sweeping curved hedges and an informal lake garden with a lit fountain all set against a backdrop of mature trees. Dedicated gardeners are here on a daily basis.  The paved seating area for outdoor ceremonies has a rose and wisteria covered aisle along with a canopy to shelter up to 150 guests. Both indoor and outdoor ceremony areas have a high quality sound system so all your guests can hear the ceremony clearly. Atmospheric up-lights and fairy lights have been placed throughout the grounds, both you and your guests can enjoy their surroundings in the evening.

Best Day EVER! Best Day EVER!
Where do I even begin with this place! If I could give 10 stars I would give 11! What a venue, what amazing staff. I literally don’t even have the words to say how unbelievable this place is. From the day we viewed it nearly 2 years ago to getting married 2 days ago they have been incredible. There was not one thing I had to question. They have this under so much control it doesn’t seem believable. From arriving first thing to the the food, the bar, the staff (unreal), the grounds, absolutely everything, they couldn’t do enough for us! Thank you Sam, our Coordinator on the day, amazing. Thank you so much to Josh also for sorting the boys out. James said you couldn’t help him anymore than you did, we really appreciate it.My guests have said there is not one thing they could fault about this day. Will never be able to thank you enough for one hell of a day! Thank you so so so much. I’ve never been so calm in all my life knowing I had absolutely nothing to worry about. Thank you again. This venue has it all ,it ticked all our boxes . you have the option of getting married outside in the beautiful gardens with your guest under a glass canopy or if the weather turns as ours did it got very cold so it was turned around in no time indoors still looking pretty with twinkle lights and white vials around dance floor . The wow factor ! Words can not describe how amazing this venue and its staff is . From start to finish we had a perfect experience at The Old Kent Barn . It’s immaculate , beautiful and just stunning . Every staff member is lovely and so helpful . My guests were amazed by this venue and not one fault could be found . If you want the perfect wedding , this is your venue . The wow factor ! Words can not describe how amazing this venue and its staff is . From start to finish we had a perfect experience at The Old Kent Barn . It’s immaculate , beautiful and just stunning . Every staff member is lovely and so helpful . When we first went to the old Kent barn, we was never planning on falling in love with the place we was simply coming to view other suppliers, the team fulfilled all our needs and everything we could want for our wedding on the 3rd July 2020 so we booked the same day on viewing. I have brought family members to come and view and they all compliment the staff and the beautiful setting and just how organised and clean the venue is kept. I have spoken with many suppliers who have all agreed that although the structure of getting the work done can be very scheduled and precise that they can really admire how much the staff put in for the bride and groom so that there Is no worry on the day. We filmed and photographed a wedding at The Old Kent Barn back in May 2017.
