Wedding Receptions at the Plough & Harrow Hotel are as important to us as they are to the Bride & Groom.
This historic Victorian hotel set in its own grounds, but in the centre of the city, provides an idyllic & peaceful setting for your wedding reception and or wedding ceremony.
Traditional warm hospitality and the “Country House in the city” setting combine to make the Plough & Harrow Hotel a unique wedding venue in Birmingham.
Excellent food & drink, caring and attentive staff, a charming atmosphere and a fabulous setting will make your reception the occasion of a lifetime.
The elegant Terrace Room, with a balcony and patio overlooking the garden, can comfortably hold up to 80 guests for a wedding breakfast and up to 150 for the evening reception.
We want you to enjoy the occasion and every special moment, so that you can treasure the memories for years to come.

All our family and friends enjoyed the location, food, service from the staff everyone commented on how great it was. The bridal suite we also had on the evening was beautiful. From assisting with the arrangements leading to our special day all the staff right across the board were friendly and helpful,nothing was to much trouble they made the day that extra bit special. Our guests whom arrived the day before and stopped at the hotel said their bedrooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast choices were more than sufficient and delicious. The food that was prepared and served throughout our special day was absolutely delicious and no one had any criticism whatsoever, and that is a testament to how the hotel looks after its guests.Don and Clair chose the Plough & Harrow as our wedding venue, what a fantastic choice that we made, as you walked through the main entrance doors you felt really at home with the surroundings which were spotlessly clean, comfortable. All the staff were brilliant and couldn't have done enough for us or our guests, nothing was too much. The food was fantastic, the main room was beautiful! Many of our guests had rooms to stay in too and they all said they we're lovely, me and my new wife had the bridal suite and it was very luxurious and the bed was very comfortable.
