Description
For our Festival weekend weddings, "The Wedding Barn" can cater for up to 250 guests, or up to 400 with a marquee annex. Or for small, or intimate ceremonies you can choose either the Farmhouse (up to 20), or the Dutch Barn (up to 60).
With catering, you can choose your own, or we can offer a variety of great value options, at various price points - choose from our big pan festival-style food, hot or cold buffets, or perhaps something more rustic with a hog roast, pulled pork or even a BBQ & street food style, it all depends on what you want. Our location is very adaptable offering both indoor and outdoor ceremonies. We're as flexible as you need us to be... so come and design your wedding, with our help.

Events in "The Wedding Barn" are offered exclusive use of our venue, including x4 B&B rooms and a large campsite, with the option to hire additional glamping: Wooden GlamPods and Belltents. All set within our own valley, consisting of 16 acres of mixed woodland and grass fields.
Alternatively, for smaller events, we can offer our Dutch Barn - with the option to book additional facilities as required.
Our price is for the use of our venue, so the factor of a per person doesn't really apply. (Head over to our website thebarnwedding.com for guidance on prices.)

- SSophie and Alex03/11/2018Everything I had imagined!Everything I had imagined!Gwaenynog was such a beautiful venue with so much open space for guests to relax and children to run around. It made it extra special that our wedding guests could be there for the whole weekend and meant everyone got to know each other the night before the wedding. The day went so quickly as it was that if we hadn't had that extra time it would have been over in a flash! We had one of the only weekends of rain in the hottest summer in 30 years but this didn't spoil a thing! Fiona and Norman were so helpful throught out the planning stage - giving us ideas and tips and reminding us to book with suppliers as we were quite lax (Norman even provided an extra make shift shower when we left it too late to book with the supplier!) Being able to design everything ourselves meant the whole wedding was really personal to us and all of the guests commented on how different it felt from other weddings. Absolutely fantastic! Completely different and as individual and to your own design that anyone could wish for. The B &B spotless clean. Breakfast lots of choices and freshly cooked by Fiona. We were lucky to be married here and wow. The venue is magical as a blank canvas but when you paint your wedding onto it it is amazing. I can not recommend this place enough. You can have alot of work to do with finding vendors and making the day yours but you are guided through the whole hour etc by Fiona and Norman. They both helped and went above and beyond to ensure our weekend went well. Yes I said weekend, if you celebrate here make it last! Amazing memories have been made at this amazing venue but you truly can make your wedding to suit your needs, check out the website for photos and ideas - no weddings have the same. I know I am biased as we married here but our guests were amazing and understood why why choose where we did and the photos and memories we have are unforgettable. A large canvas that every one of the guests drew or wrote on, instead of a guest book - which would go on the wall at the home of the bride & groom. It looked fab, just like a piece of art! Lots of guests were incredibly artistic!

What is your venue's most unique feature?
You can do everything here - there's plenty of space and grounds to spread out and have lots of fun, creating beautiful memories. The number of games - rounders, tug-of-war and coconut-shy to name a few!
What part of your business are you most proud of?
That we did it at all - lots of friends thought we were brave moving over 200 miles to relocate to Wales!
