The new and exquisite Stables offers the perfect and unique setting for your special day. Following your romantic ceremony, you will be greeted for drinks in our quintessentially English courtyard. Take your seats for your 2 AA rosette Wedding Breakfast and dance the night away with your nearest and dearest for your evening reception. A day to treasure full of wonderful memories within the beautiful and sophisticated Stables. The Stables are fully self-contained with a traditional foyer to meet & greet guests, a mezzanine gentlemen’s club style bar overlooking the party, bathroom facilities and a wooden dance space for you and your new spouse to take to the floor for your memorable first dance. The Tack & Forge situated in The Coach House is an L shaped room neutrally designed for your personal tastes. A ceremony room for up to 40 guests, smoothly transforms for your Wedding breakfast and evening reception. Completely self-contained and opening out on to our Courtyard, The Tack and Forge is the perfect venue for a wedding full of elegance and charm. All 31 bedrooms have been individually designed & named after famous racehorses. The Penthouse suite, Nijinsky is yours to wind down in for the night of your wedding as a special gift from us. You will have a personal wedding co-ordinator on hand from start to finish to ensure that the whole experience runs like clockwork. Above and beyond...Above and beyond...
We had our marriage blessed in May 2015, its a long story but we ended up moving our wedding date unexpectedly for a visa application as we were moving to America. We decided to keep our original wedding date and make it in to a blessing instead. Sarah and Sophie were amazing with the changes we needed to make and many emails were sent between us. We arrived at the hotel two days before the blessing weighted down with masses of wedding paraphanailia and a list of things to do as long as my arm! Sarah and Paul met us at reception seeing the frazzled look on my face they guided me to a sunny corner of the hotels beautiful courtyard and I downloaded all the contents of my brain over a much needed G&T. Nothing was to much trouble for them I'd made a surprise video for my husband and guests so they arranged for a large screen and laptop to show it at the start of the ceremony. My father was expriencing a number of health issues I asked if it was possible for a large comfortable chair could be added to his room as he was struggling with his sleep, again not a problem. My best friends birthday was the day before and they arranged for a small cake to be made so we could wish she happy birthday at the reception, honestly nothing was to much. The actual day was perfect and went off with out a hitch thanks to the amazing staff and management at the White Horse, we were so well looked after and so were all of our guests from the moment they checked in to the moment they left. So if you are looking for a unique venue that has the ability to accomodate a large number of guests but still have the feel of a intimate affair, that serves award winning food and cocktails, that will go above and beyond the normal level of service to make sure your wedding is as perfect as your Pinterest board look no futher because you've found it!! Thank you Sarah, Paul, Sophie and all the staff at the White Horse for everything you did for us and making our day so special. Great wedding venue Great wedding venue
We had our wedding reception here in September and I cannot recommend it enough. The hotel location is perfect if you are getting married in Romsey. The function rooms are amazing, really well decorated to give you a warm and intimate setting! Our guests were complimentary about the venue, the food and overall felt well looked after by the staff. The wedding breakfast was done well and everything went like swimmingly. We had our wedding reception here in September and I cannot recommend it enough. Truly the most magical day ever! The White Horse is the perfect setting for a relaxed wedding with all the little luxuries! From the food that is divine to the Bridal suite that is comfy and cosy and very luxiourious - The White Horse has it all to ensure the best day of your lives! Our guests almost ten years on still comment about how our wedding was one the best they have ever been to! A hidden gem and must be recongised so more couples can enjoy the same experience!Truly the most magical day ever! The White Horse is the perfect setting for a relaxed wedding with all the little luxuries!
