From our firsf meeting to the day after the wedding they had everything running smoothly. From seating plans, to food decisions, to organising our vendors set up on the day. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
The best weddings we have at Venachar were not just because of the beautiful weather, the amazing views or the lovely food. It was the sense of family, friends and happiness that made the days so unique. We like to get to know each couple personally so we can create the perfect wedding day for each individual couple.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Have a vision of the wedding day you want and don't compromise any of your ideas.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
One wedding couples mum made their centre pieces out of driftwood logs and carved all their family names as their table names.

Unique, Picturesque, Bespoke, Scenic, Vibrant
Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
At the end of our lawn as the sun is setting with the loch and hills in the background. This is definitely my favourite photo spot.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Emile Sande is probably the biggest celeb in my eyes however lots of football managers, comedians and actors have also visited.

Stornoway black pudding bon bons
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Scottish Cheese selection
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Our venue sits right on the loch, you could jump off the decking into the loch.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
The hard work and effort that has been put in to get where our business is now. We won "Scotland's Best Restaurant" at the Scottish Baking awards 2014 and "Best Informal Eating Experience" at Visit Scotland's Thistle awards 2015/16/17/18.
