The whole way through the process of organising the wedding Danielle was incredible to deal with, responding to every query we had immediately and always being so friendly, professional and helpful. Danielle’s amazing work made the wedding planning so easy and stress free for us. On the day of the wedding everything from the set up of the ceremony, cocktail hour to dinner and then the party after was perfectly set up and allowed us and our guests to have the best time. All our guests raved about how good the food (both canapes and dinner were) and so many people mentioned how helpful and kind the staff were. Everything we could think of and many things we didn’t even know about were handled on the day seamlessly and helped us have the best day we could ever have hoped for. We would 100% recommend having your wedding at the Clayton Ballsbridge , from the venue to all the staff they were all incredible start to finish! It’s slightly outside of the main areas of Dublin, but very accessible by taxi, car, and transit.Great stay! The hotel stood out just because of its service, everyone was always ready to help with a smile, especially the young Bruno, he helped with recommendations that were lovely. The hotel is beautiful and clean. There's a restaurant so food is not an issue if you don't want to eat out, but it is walkable to a few restaurants as well. We were short tables for the dinner but Romaine was so fast in getting it sorted for us which was great. The tent outside was definitely a hit so I hope you guys are keeping it because it’s definitely a selling point. We were lucky to have it, can’t believe how insulating it is in the evening. At Thomas Prior each wedding is completely unique to each couple. We wouldn't be able to compare each wedding as each was beautiful and stands out. It is important that each couple feels that their wedding is a reflection of them as a couple and that their wedding day displays them as a unit together.
All our weddings at Thomas Prior Hall achieve this and gives each couple a day that they will never forget celebrating their love with their family and friends.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Each wedding is very different as is every couple, it is important when making big decisions such as the venue and your suppliers that they all align with who you both are as a couple as well as what you both want for your big day!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
It's great seeing everyone's personal take on their wedding especially when it comes to the table decorations and table names. One which I loved was a couple named the tables after pubs in Ireland which they loved or had a special memory of. They has art pieces of each pub for the tables as well which looked amazing!

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
The exterior of the Thomas Prior Hall is truly incredible and is breath taking in photos, the structure of the building speaks for itself and it pictures beautifully for the wedding couple, creating unforgettable memories.

The Goats Cheese Tart is an overall fav :)

I love a sweet Treat, our Homemade cookies are exceptional!
