Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
To be honest, we've had quite a few weddings were couples have come up with some amazing experiences for their wedding day. But the Balthazar bottle of champagne (12L) with our opening ceremony is always crowd pleaser. We've also had Llama's, a 20 choir in the chapel, and some of the best wedding bands at The Abbey. Couples are always putting their own mark on the wedding day and we can't wait to see what next season brings!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Once your venue is secured, book your other vendors as earlier as possible. Create a couples email address and use it for all suppliers correspondence. A dedicated website RSVP wedding for your wedding is a must have, this will cut down the stress and give you clarity on guest numbers and all the information your guest will need for your wedding day can be easily accessed.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
One of the most touching personal touches I’ve seen at a wedding was a beautifully arranged display of photos honoring loved ones who had passed away and couldn’t be with the couple on their special day. The couple created a dedicated space with framed photographs, candles, and flowers, making it a heartfelt tribute. It was a poignant reminder of the love and memories shared with those who are no longer with us, and it brought a meaningful sense of connection to the celebration.
