Highlights of the Venue

This immaculately restored family-run Jacobean manor house dates back to 1086 and is steeped in history. It prides itself on its traditional period features, including ornate gates and a stately tree-lined path, manicured grounds, oversized fireplaces, a striking oak-panelled great hall and a grand ballroom. Plus, featuring a wide selection of event rooms and spaces, you can have any size or style wedding you want, and celebrate with up to 300 guests. Full catering is available, too, and the venue offers exclusive use and dry hire.

Froyle Park is also conveniently located just an hour outside of the capital, 40 minutes from London Heathrow or Southampton Airports, and just a short hop from the neighbouring towns of Alton and Farnham. And if you and/or your guests want to stay the night, the manor house boasts 27 luxury bedrooms, arranged within self-contained apartments.

Accolades, Awards & Standout Features

Besides being family-owned, exclusive-use and inclusive, the team at Froyle Park are also proud award-winners, including:

  • TWIA – Best Venue – South Central Region 2025
  • British Asian Wedding Awards – Best Venue – National Winner – 2025

Louise explains the venue’s ethos and standout features in more detail:

“Froyle Park is the perfect blend of classic countryside charm and modern luxury. We have four licensed ceremony spaces, including our iconic outdoor dome and capacity for up to 300 guests.

We are an exclusive-use venue with onsite accommodation, meaning that you will enjoy our estate with only your guests and design your day, your way. We are also family-owned and privately run, with our close-knit team constantly looking at ways to evolve our offering and investment, and upgrading is a rolling process.

Just this year we have refurbished our pre-wedding Hideaway (a stunning apartment for the bride and her party to arrive at the day before the celebrations, complete with a matching set of pink salon chairs and bank of vanity stations); our Groom’s Lounge (the ultimate chaps’ space, complete with its own snooker table, naturally); and our Reception Room (perfect for welcoming guests with drinks and nibbles before taking seats).

We live and breathe weddings, and real love and care goes into the venue and everything we do.”

Memorable Moments

The expert team at Froyle Park are proud to host a great variety of weddings, and thrilled to be chosen by couples celebrating every faith, culture and heritage. Reflecting upon the many memorable moments here, Louise explains:

“Our experienced team are well-versed in delivering diverse memorable and cherished occasions and, as such, we get to enjoy a rich selection of festivities. For example, you cannot beat the atmosphere, colour and vibrancy of a wedding party arriving to energetic dhol drums, coloured flares in the air and the groom on horseback. Likewise, we adore the lively games and traditions of our African weddings and the respectful calm of a China tea ceremony for example. No two days are the same!”

Expert Advice

Louise began working in luxury hotels and event venues but quickly fell in love with weddings specifically. She shares:

“It is never lost on me what a privilege it is to be involved in a couple’s dream day. I’m lucky that my role is quite varied and I am able to assist couples and their guests on the day itself as well as the excitement of putting together galleries and marketing material. When a collection of wedding photographs arrives in my inbox, I just adore being wowed by the beautiful images and seeing our venue captured in a different way every time it never gets old (I have been known to tear up at my desk!).”

Her best expert advice for couples planning their wedding is to invest time researching your suppliers and really lean on your venue’s expertise:

“Ask your venue for their recommendations they will have lived experience of the vendors, which is crucial and something you cannot gauge from an Instagram feed. Your vendors will be part of your day; you don’t want people arriving late, producing low-quality service or forgetting key equipment etc. on the day. Your venue will know passionate industry professionals and will be able to matchmake you with your dream suppliers to ensure your day goes without a hitch in the way you have always envisioned.”
