What about your business are you most proud of?
Most of my brides have become regular clients! I love that we build a relationship and I enjoy seeing them regularly after their wedding. Even painting their baby bumps!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
The bridesmaids at a wedding last year put together a stunning collage frame of the bride and groom and gifted it to the bride on the morning of the wedding. It was so beautiful, special, and personal!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I like to speak to the bride personally, initially over the phone. We then book the preview trial, where I ask the bride to wear her makeup and hair how she typically does day to day. This way I can gauge her sense of style. I also ask for lots of inspiration photos! We discuss the photos together and then I create a hair and makeup look. I encourage my brides to be completely honest with me, and I am happy to fufill her wishes for how she wants to look for her big day!
What do you love most about your job?
I love that I give the bride her last chance to relax before her big moment comes. I do my absolute best to make her feel at ease. I also love seeing the entire wedding party come together to look their most glamorous versions of themselves.
What is your No. 1 beauty tip for a bride?
Skincare! I will make skincare recommendations at your preview trial, however it is never too early to start looking after your skin for your wedding day!
How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?
I book out more than enough time to get the entire bridal party ready. I take my time with the bride, I never make her feel rushed or pressured. My brides say I have a 'magic touch' that makes them feel relaxed and pampered as well!
What advice would you give to brides to stay looking great throughout their wedding day?
Book your makeup with Glamorama! Then you will have know worries. I am known for how well my makeup lasts. Some brides report that it looks flawless even the next day!
