I am an experienced bridal makeup artist based in Tunbridge Wells covering Kent and Sussex. I trained at the acclaimed DFMA Makeup Academy and specialise in bridal and fashion editorial makeup creating flawless, glowing skin. Working in the fashion industry gives me the opportunity to test all the latest makeup products and have first hand knowledge of all the latest beauty trends. My skill and knowledge can all be transferred in to creating your signature look for your wedding makeup design. During your wedding makeup trial we will take the time to talk through your colour schemes and focus on all your needs and expectations. We will find the perfect look for your wedding day that will enhance your natural beauty with flawless, radiant skin. I work calmly and professionally to ensure that you feel relaxed, confident and simply beautiful on your special day.

If you're looking for a makeup artist for your wedding then Helena is your girl! I booked Helena for my wedding in September and she was brilliant. She met with me to discuss ideas and totally understood what I wanted so when it came to my trial she got it perfect on the first go! Helena has a lovely calming quality about her which I was so grateful for on the mornung of the wedding - she made me feel relaxed which is just what a bride needs on her big day. My bridesmaids, mum and I got loads of compliments during the wedding and the makeup itself lasted right through to the end of the night! I can't rate Helena highly enough - she's just fab!

Helena is an absolute makeup wizard! Her work is always beautiful and she's such a joy to work with. Ladies you will not be disappointed

Helena did my makeup for my wedding in July this year, along with three bridesmaids (one of them whom was very fussy!) She was wonderful, respected the fact I was an older bride who was particularly fearful of looking like mutton! Everything I asked for was delivered professionally, calmly and the end look was fab! They made the morning feel magical!

Last Saturday Helena and Amy came and did the most amazing flawless makeup for myself and my four bridesmaids. Not only was all of the makeup absolutely stunning, they made the morning feel magical, nothing was too much for these girls. Then at my evening reception they came and did glitter faces/beards/tattoos etc. for all of my guests and the response from my guests was better than I could've imagined. The queue was constant filled with more adults than kids. By the end of the evening everyone looked absolutely amazing and couldn't stop commenting on how brilliant the girls were!! I can't thank you both enough!! And highly recommend these girls to anyone!!!

Exfoliate, use a night cream, drink plenty of water and get lots of sleep!

How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?

I find a quiet place in the room to set up my makeup chair and makeup. I make sure my bride is comfortable and has everything she needs. I stay calm and relaxed and don't overwhelm my bride with too many questions or chatter on the day. This creates a calm atmosphere and keeps nerves at bay.
