What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Take your time to plan and look through various options available. It's best to try or sample a few different options before making your final choice.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I usually have a trial with the Bride, sometimes the bridesmaids/mother of the bride as well, where we first have a chat about ideas, colour schemes, dress and hair styles etc. I then try different looks until we get exactly what is wanted for the wedding day. There's no time limit on a trial, we keep going until we reach perfection! When the wedding day arrives, it's usually an early start to make sure there's plenty of time to recreate the makeup that was decided on at the trial.
What do you love most about your job?
I love seeing the happiness on the Bride's face when the hair, makeup, dress and flowers all come together and she feels and looks beautiful.
What is your No. 1 beauty tip for a bride?
Drink lots of water and moisturise, ideally all the time, but especially within the month running up to the wedding day.
How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?
Everything to do with the makeup is always fully planned before the day, so all the Bride needs to do is sit in the makeup chair, relax and be pampered!
What advice would you give to brides to stay looking great throughout their wedding day?
The makeup I use has yet to fail me with its staying power! The Bride doesn't need to worry about the makeup moving as I have some great products to make it stay put all day and all night!
